The ICS New Dawn is an Arquitens-class light cruiser in service of the Legatus Finduilica under command of the Imperial officer, captain Vertac Uiana. It was destroyed in September 2820 during the second battle of Ramgotheria.
History
Upon the rise of the Galactic Empire of Cyrannus, captain Vertac Uiana assumed command of the New Dawn and was soon send to patrol the Imperial hyperlanes within the Cyrannus Galaxy.

Upon the outbreak of the Second Great Cyrannus War, the New Dawn became involved in the Escalation-stages. Transporting the prisoner Janice Ross, an Aldárae Knight and sympathizer of the Cyrandia Alliance, the New Dawn was targeted by commander Raymus Oquoné of the Blazing Squadron.
As the New Dawn was boarded, the resistance officers were thwarted in their attempt boarded the New Dawn and broke free Janice. In the air tunnel, Vertac managed to corner Raymus and his forces and activated the shock collar of Janice, who fell stunned to the ground forcing Raymus to retreat without her. Smiling, Uiana had Janice dragged back to her cell and informed Imperial command.
Inquisitor Charcar'maer conducted the interrogation of the Knight when the ship came under attack one again. Aldárae Master Ryen and Arasah Nui boarded the vessel and managed to liberate Janice from captivity, leaving the ship in need of repairs.
ICS New Dawn's magazine is hit, moments before its destruction - September 2820
In September 2820, the New Dawn was part of the defense fleet of Ramgotheria when a second battle erupted in orbit of the planet. Elements of House Ramelzen, House Ramcelsior and Lusitania Squadron assaulted the planet in hopes of liberating the occupied planet. During the battle the New Dawn covered the present Yurrus-class carrier. When the carrier took damage from the HRSS Arthrastral it attempted to draw fire. During the firing exchange one of the New Dawn's magazines was hit causing the ship to explode, ending the live of all onboard.
