Ferrofiber is the technical pinnacle of the Universe. it is using the same structure as carbonfiber, but it is a lot cheaper, tougher and easier to build with. the only downside is the weight: it weighs twice as much as carbonfiber. tests have shown us that it is tougher than just about every bullet. Hyperspace is working on producing a Base ship out of mainly this material.
