The B-wing starfighter is a heavily armed assault starfighter and bomber in service of House Ramelzen.
History[]
With the Rambo Serindia of Ramalivua forced to migrate from their homes their rulers, House Ramelzen ensured they could re-settle on Karzhamarhi-Nui. To provide work and new wealth for their house and people they contracted the Froramsilia Company Association to manufacture unique starfighters.
As such by the end of 2812 the first B-wings were deployed and often escort the larger and weaker Tirith-class corvettes on patrols or transport runs. The B-wings were first deployed in combat during the liberation of Ramgotheria, where they proved to be a menace to the Imperial light cruisers.
Characteristics[]
The B-wing starfighters of House Ramelzen are heavily armed assault starfighters and bombers. As a single-pilot starfighter is agility and speed is unquestionable while its armament is capable of disabling corvettes and frigates. It is however not suitable for dog-fights but more for blockade breakers or in a persuit role.
Its armament include two icon cannons, one laser cannon and two twin auto-blasters to deal with fighers, pirate crafts and are powerful enough to disable corvettes and frigates. In addition to its bomber-role it also has two torpedo launchers. The B-wing has an unique gyroscopic control system that could keep the rotating cockpit module level with a horizon no matter how the body of the craft was positioned.
Furhtermore the starfighter is equipped with both impulse and a hyperdrive engine and has an average length of 17 meters.
