The Legatus All Terrain Armored Transport, also known as AT-AT or Legatus Walkers was a major part of the Legatus' motor-pool. Equipped with a considerable amount of fire power and being heavily armored, the AT-AT was argueably the most feared and effective land vehicle in the Legatus Army.
In part of the Quadrantia Contingency Plan, the Legatus employed the Ekimu Enterprises to design, construct and mass produce the AT-AT walkers for the newly formed Legatus. Resembling the Armoured Assault Walkers of the Galactic Empire, albeit a bit smaller the walker was designed to both annihilate entire enemy battalions but also to strike psychological fear into the hearts of all those who would oppose the Legatus.
By October 2820, the AT-AT walkers entered service and were first seen patrolling the outskirts of Boreas.
The AT-AT walkers were a behemoth of infantry machines, standing at a height of at least 22.5 meters and a lenght of 20 meters. The quadrupedal walker closely resembled ancient beast of war and were heavily armored. Designed for the dual purpose of crushing and demoralizing enemy forces, and serving as a transport for Imperial troops and light vehicles, the AT-AT was among the most astonishing vehicles in the Legatus Army's inventory.
The "head" of the walker featured a movable command section containing the command cockpit with room for the commander, pilot and gunner. It also housed all of the walkers weapon system that included two heavy laser cannons and two medium laser blasters. The trapezoidal armed body of the walker was heavily armored and was accessible from the cockpit. It could carry up two forty troops and multiple speeders.
Though a fearsome sight and formidable opponent, it was rather slow.
