  • I don't know if this topic belongs to questions and answers, but it's definetly about spore! Here is the question: I started new savefile on spore, starting in Creature Stage (I just don't like Cell stage), naming my creature "Modrý chodec" (translation to EN: "Blue Walker") and then after some time I entered tribal stage! Here is the problem: The only tribes I got to meet so far are 2 of my creations, named "Zlatý Vták" (Golden Bird) and "červený Trhák" (Red Thrower), what is even more weird is that so far I saw 2 times zlatý vták and 2 times červený trhák... Is the game trying to priorize my own creatures as my opponents? When I played tribe stage with these 2 only creatures by Maxis (default) showed up :-/ Thanks for any answers

    • This can happen, I believe. In Tribal Stage I found 3 of my creations as tribes, with 1 of them belonging to two tribes. And you can see the same creation over and over in a single game. Sometimes, but rarely, you can go through a whole game, from creature stage to becoming Omnipotent in the Space Stage, you won't see any Maxis creatures.

    • But the creatures and creations you meet are completely random. The only species that aren't are Cell Stage cells and the Grox.

Thanks for answer Also, during creature stage, one of my first created creatures have appeared as my opponent (Named Zelenáč = Greener (in English))

Also happens. Any creature in the game, from your downloads, to your creations, to Maxis' creations will appear in any state/part. In civ stage they can be military, religious, etc. Creature stage they can hate or dislike your species, or just don't care about you. Same with tribal and space.

If you mean by the animals on the highlighted part, that always happens. Animals are everywhere in Tribal Stage and each one spawns twice or three times on separate nests.

I meant tribes, 3 different colored tribes were the same creature (červený trhák)

    • This is PERFECTLY normal. Their is a very high chance of seeing your own creations as Empires, tribes, or enemy creatures. They may be your own creations, but that always doesn't mean their on your side. This happens because their is not enough maxis creations to fill up the entire galaxy, so they decided it would be fun to encounter one of your own creations while playing.

After further playing of SPORE and doing the tribe stage again and again, eventually I encountered more of my previous creations, including "Grey Wonder" and "Purple Bottle" who both were created by me, but "Purple Bottle" started as Tribe stage and didn't encounter my other creations as other tribes, "Grey Wonder" started in Space stage but a creature version of himself had to be created first so it also appeared as AI's tribe when "Slizoun" came from Creature stage to Tribe Stage... Wait, when creature starts at tribe stage, it won't encounter my own creations, when it came from creature to tribe, there ARE my creations as other tribes, I didn't knew that!

You cannot rename your creations when u advance to civ stage/space stage. Its not a glitch. The reason you cant is because your entire empire/colony is named after your species, and it would be almost impossible to recode your whole game to fit that new species name. For example: If your species is named: "Bob", then the programming knows to say: This vehicle is by the "bob" empire, or species. Your history also needs this. But if you rename it, it cant rewrite everything in your history and your empire. So next time, pick a name that you will be willing to keep forever. :D
