Tyrannosauroidea (Osborn, 1906) or tyrannosauroids are theropods with blunted snouts, long hindlimbs in comparison to their body and, usually, protofeathers partially covering their bodies.

The following are within this clade:

  • Tyrannosauridae (theropods with large heads filled with bone crushing teeth, muscular legs and strong, though small, arms bearing two digits)
