Scansoriopterygidae (Czerkas & Yuan, 2002) or scansoriopterygids are paravian theropods with membrane wings formed by three fingers and an elongated wrist bone, superficially resembling those of a bat. This also includes fictional and mythical creatures that coincidentally resemble the family. Examples include the real-lifeYi qi and Scansoriopteryx, the mythical cockatrice, and the Spore creature Gallisnakus.
