I'm not too sure where and how to document this BUT
On Windows, each *windows* user on a PC gets their own galaxy. This means each user gets their own storybook planet locations, black holes and Stars even.
The galaxy is stored in the users profile folder. Typically this will be
- c:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\SPORE\Games\Game0 (Windows XP and 2000)
- c:\Users\<username>\AppData\SPORE\Games\Game0 (Windows Vista)
All the games in progress on on PC will share this folder meaning that any space races created on one PC will be able to discover the other in-progress games and potentially interact with them.
Questions outstanding are, can you destroy your other civilizations if you find them (and attack them) from a different "game" ?
