Something is wrong with Essence
It seems a third of all major practitioners in elemental, possibly psionic and more energies are suffering from blocked energy pathways, and burn out, throughout the Delpha Coalition of Planets, although gyronic hasn't really been affected. The "epidemic" is rising. We have heard from some of our allies they are suffering from the same problems. Its as if they have been hit by "bad energy". This isn't a problem thoughout the DCP, its a problem throughout what seems to be the First Gigaquadrant. Some individuals are affected later than others. Could it be the Xhodocto works?
Let's hope not. We just defeated the big entropic demon...

We were in our daily learning of psionic energy with the krassio when none of us could use it. This disturbance appears to extent to the second gigaquadrant too. The Kaiyo race in our empire was the first to be affected as their minds are weaker. Even our emperor is currently helpless without a trace of psionic energy. It was strongest in the first gigaquadrant area around the kraw galaxy, sana, and forma. Shellis herself is taking notice and if she is uneasy then that can't be good for the lower lifeforms around our space. Luckily we have a few little traces of power around our homeworld but it is still not enough to do anything. We fear something bad is going to happen sometime soon. We have already had to call back our forces do to the lack of energy needed to power our weapons. Untill this problem has gone we will be forced to withdraw our forces from the alliance military against the Xhodocto.

Borealis Galaxy returned from...somewhere
Greetings, everyone. We all know that the Borealis Galaxy was disappeared since the Scourge. We though it was destroyed by the Xhodocto, but today we have detected a gigantic energy source in the nearby regions, and the galaxy was back. We are not sure what brough it back, but it appeared to be dark energy, the invisible expander of the universe. The galaxy is now much closer, next to the Local Group. We just felt that everyone with colonies in there should be warned. All life in it appears to be oblivious of the Xhodocto attack, actually...

While the Imperium has no territories in the Cyrannian Galaxy I will say this: Never In all my eighty years of leadership I have ever heard of such an outrageous demand. The empire holds territories in Andrmeda so it would only seem fair if you were to withdraw at least some of your control from those regions.
