The SporeWiki Fantasy Universe is an alternative high fantasy narrative, concentrating on the world of Ashan as its central setting. The Fantasy Universe is intended to be a collaborative universe currently being curated by user Rhapxhodic (Xho). The setting will become an open collaboration once the fundamental rules and page articles are complete.

Rules[]
- All initial ideas must be discussed with the creator of the setting (Rhapxhodic). This rule may be relaxed once a suitable collaborative body of work is created.
- All written articles for the Fantasy Universe must be written to a coherent standard and with good article presentation. See Good Starter Example.
- Politeness, common courtesy and sense should prevail at all times. Criticism in good faith is acceptable, but collaboration requires communication.
- The Fantasy Universe is an entirely separate narrative from the Fiction Universe and the alternate Fantasy Universes.
- The narrative of the setting falls between the dates of c. 10,000 BC to 843 AC.
- Users are allowed to narrate speculative histories before 10,000 BC.
- Users are allowed to create their own calendar systems provided that it can be reconciled with the main calendar.
- The technology of the Fantasy Universe should not surpass the technology of the Scientific Revolution.
- Users are not allowed to make major adjustments to the base cosmology of the Fantasy Universe;
- Users are allowed to create individual mythologies (deities, realms etc.) provided they do not alter the base cosmology of the Fantasy Universe or the mythologies of other users. Any references to the mythologies of other users should either be speculative or discussed fairly between users.
- Users are allowed to narrate their own astronomy.
- Users are allowed to create their own narratives on magic.
- Users are not allowed to add or remove major geographical features to Ashan. There are no geographical features beyond what is shown on Ashan's world map (above); users are not allowed to add or remove features beyond the map.
- Users are allowed to use any geographical region they wish, provided it does not infringe upon the freedoms and boundaries set by other users. Users are encouraged to discuss fair use of these (and their own) regions.
- Users are allowed to create minor landmasses that do not require active alteration to the world map.
- Users are not allowed to take fiction of other users for their own use.
- Users are allowed to mention the fiction of other users, provided it does not alter their established canon. Discussion is encouraged.
- Fiction of a user that has been inactive for at least six months can be adopted by a user with the approval of either the creator of the setting (Rhapxhodic) or the community.
