One of the guiding principles of the Wiki ideology is that a large group of sometimes anonymous people can join together to create something greater then any one person, or small group of people, could make. Within this kind of atmosphere each contributor (besides vandals) edits in an effort to improve SporeWiki in some manner. Often the actions of different individuals may cause some disagreement when they both wish to have their change stand. It's best in this kind of situation to realize that both contributors are trying to improve SporeWiki, even if one may think that the other contributor's edit is completely wrong; contributors should assume that others' edits are being made in good faith. If each individual member of SporeWiki remembers that other members are trying to do the very best they can for the wiki, then we will hopefully be able to come to common solutions that work for everyone involved without degeneration of editing and conflict between editors.
