Creature Stage[edit | edit source]
Rogue creatures are mostly uncommon. They are powerful creatures with high stats and 250 health. They are aggressive towards any regular creatures, other rogues, or the player's creature in hard difficulty. They can be befriended or killed for 100 DNA points.
Unlike other creatures, they are not part of a nest, they are only ever encountered alone. Some of them are skittish and may flee away from the player–usually if the player kills other creatures in front of the rogue–, and some of them are curious. Fewer rogues, mostly herbivorous ones, may be scared of hostile creatures. If the player's creature befriends a rogue, any regular creatures or epic creatures of the rogue's species will become allies with the player and their species.
The criteria the game uses to select a rogue creature are as follows: All rogue creatures must have high combat and social abilities, and they must have a combined total of at least 12 levels in each type, with a minimum level 3 in every stat except bite and sing. Other skills (e.g. Glide or Sneak) don't even matter, but because of the high criteria, a rogue creature often has many such abilities.

Rogue creatures only appear in the Tribal Stage as pets if they were part of the player's pack in the prior stage, Creature Stage, and advancing to the Tribal Stage with them. They will no longer appear in the later stages, Civilization Stage and Space Stage.
Rogues also appear in Spore Hero, less vicious and more civilized than Spore versions.
- Beast is a tough creature made cute and flightless by Zarkhator.
- Goglu is a medium-sized rogue made fat, flightless, lumpy, and four-eyed by Zarkhator.
- Yeti is a rogue that was encased in crystal with a moonfruit somehow.
- Yacque is the king of the Mushroom Grove and was evolved into a cute, brown, fat creature with the Mollratt mouth by Zarkhator.
