The Planet Scan is a charged main tool in the Space Stage of Spore.
Usage[]
Using the Planet Scan on a planet causes all of the plant and animal species to be scanned and added to the Sporepedia. It will ignore any already scanned species. This tool serves its usefulness in Gopher missions.
