The Scorpio Spikal Federation is mostly capitalist with a small mixture of socialism (specifically in the environmental section). Private industry is bustling. The thing with the SSF though is that the wealth gap between rich and poor is low compared to most capitalist nations in the Spore Galaxy. The currency the SSF uses is the Sporebuck, which is 2x a US dollar, like a majority of Planet Any and the Spore Galaxy. The SSF's capitalist/socialist divide is very low. There are capitalist, communist, anarcho-capitalist, anarcho-communist, socialist, capitalist-liberal, environmentalist-capitalist and social-liberal parties in the Scorpio Spikal Federation's 1000 seat parliament. The Scorpio Spikal Federation usually doesn't show hostility to other nations based on ideology. The best-selling company as of 2052 is Hiroko, a frozen food manufacturing company which uses food dispensers to manufacture frozen food. Corruption in the government is very low.
Foreign Trade[]
The Scorpio Spikal Federation trades with many nations, specifically its allies. It gets about 15% of its money from it. The Galactic Stock Market determines the economy in each section of the Spore Galaxy (The SSF and its allies are in the Peninsular Alliance Section).
