Gallis is a purple spice planet under the control of the Orinian Republic. The main species of the planet is Ostindons. It was taken by force from a tribal group, and is the eighth system under the control of the empire, though the Council of Orinia only recongnizes six (two systems don't follow the system and planet standards of the the empire: Romen and Baella Systems).
Gallin Incident[]
The Gallin Incident, or Economy Take-Over (slang), was the event that took place after Terraforming planet Gallin. A tribal race prevented the Ostindons from taking the planet originally. To plan what to do with them, they spent time terraforming the planet. General Sanatos came up with the idea of taking some and integrating them into their cities. Their huts had to be destroyed. It was decided then.
Reasons for Acquiring Gallin[]
- Gallin had purple spice, a necessary cash crop.
- It helped to extend their empire.
- Help to acquire necessary plant and animal samples for future terraforming
Tribal Citizens[]
Those who were taken from their tribes to integrate into Ostindons society have become OTO's. Though most do not own companies or huge homes, they have fared very well. Only 950 of the 20,000 are considered Penurious.
Devis-2[]

Devis-2 is the only natural satellite of Gallin after the Southeastern Republic destroyed the arid moon Devis. It has a lunar cycle of 25 days, which is how months are counted on Gallin (planet calendar using the moon only lasts four months, versus the solar calendar, which has 10 even months and three seasons). It is believed that the tribes before the Gallin Incident and the "busting" of Devis had special holidays for certain cycles of the two moons.
