Although much of Cornerian history was destroyed in The Great Switch, over ten billion years ago, what is known is this:
Once upon a time, a creature called Spork emerged from the frigid waters of Corneria's oceans. this creature, with a penchance for rapid evolution, eventually gained sentience, and developed a method of stopping the evolution. Spork then gathered his acquaintances, and formed an empire. All Spork are descended from the original Spork.
