A Peer Cell is a cell the same size as the player. It can be killed in 2 hits on easy and normal difficulties or 3 hits on hard difficulty, and can kill you just as easily as you can kill them. After leveling up, Peer Cells become Prey Cells, and Predator Cells become Peer Cells as all cells go through the size changes as the cell stage goes on.
