  • what is C.C.E:

The C.C.E (Coalition of the Central Empires)

The C.C.E is a designation attributed to the coalition formed between Jinaris Empire and Ail'karian Imperium, after the end of the Ail'karian-Imperial war, which is open to other empires with a similar system of government joining the alliance. The name is related to the central position, as Jinaris Empire and Ail'karian Imperium are close to the galactic core. The roots of this coalition are found in the Central Powers established in 1914 between the German Empire and Austria-Hungary, the C.C.E is a military and economic alliance. The organization constitutes a system of collective defense through which its member states agree to mutual defense in response to an attack by any entity outside the organization. The headquarters of C.C.E is located in Eden, the capital of the Jinaris Empire.

  • Hello! I'm currently looking to flesh out my fiction, The Infernal Republic, and a while ago the Cyber Collective replied to an opportunity at diplomacy from them saying that they fit their standards. If it is possible, could you shoot me a discord ID or something of the like so that we can discuss that?

  • Hello Zilla. This is Crimson. I'm only here to make peace with you, not ask to come back or anything like that. We parted ways horribly, and it doesn't sit right with me since we had quite a good run with our writing.

A while ago I posted a message to you all on the "New Thread" thread, but Eco tells me nobody got the notification so I'm writing to all of you personally.

I'll start by saying I'm not a fascist. I explained what that was all about on the new thread, but since you were offended by it I'll tell you personally. What's been going on in this country is driving me insane, literally. I needed something to grab onto, something with beliefs that would tell these people that I hate them. I guess. It's all a bit hazy and ill-thought out, as you probably can tell. It wasn't a very right-minded thing to do, and I'm sorry it bothered you so much. Like I told Gorzill, the manner of Fascism I was referring to was Italian Fascism, not Nazism. I don't know if that makes a difference to you, but it might help, so there you have it. In any case I'm not a follower of either.

What I also wanted to tell you, that I touched on a little in the new thread, is that I'm very sorry you had to endure that horrendous Fenric writing. I still cannot figure out why my writing skill went so down the tubes. That whole "Fenric invades Ugandalore" was awful, wasn't it? I said on the new thread, doing it again, I would have had him invade the north with maybe 100,000 men and stay there, and you could have your guys root him out. Eco tells me you've kept the Fenric stuff canon and abridged it. I guess if you care enough I'll tell you more about how I'd revise it so it wasn't so bad, but it doesn't really matter to me. There's something about his ending on the new thread too, about how the crow would've tortured him forever. That's why I had him freeze to death instead of Kirta killing him. Suppose I should've told you that.

Well Zilla, that's about it. I hope its enough for you to forgive me. I really hope you do, because the way we fought has weighed on me ever since, and I want to end this on a good note, so that we all can forget the nasty fight that I caused and just remember the good times when we wrote good stories. There's something Eco told me, that I'd like to relate to you. Breathe in, breathe out. Focus on the good. That should dispel any lingering anger you have.

    Peace be unto you, Zillafire.

  • I'm reorganizing mandibulosaurs to be based on morphology and creative themes rather than how many limbs and what kind of head they have. I created Exoskeleweridae for heavily armored humanoid mandibulosaurs, as those are a common theme. May I move Zarcosian into it?

EDIT: You have a few other hemiinsects that fit the family as well, may I move them too?

Since I noticed you were on the Eupherion Discord I figured I should notify you

Eupherion is more or less completely open now, even if it still needs some work So feel free to add your own stuff to it if you want, I’m entirely happy with letting you do what you want, like Gorzill and Hellrock. But if a thing you did does conflict with my galactic lore, I’ll let you know otherwise have fun

  • Creating a new thread here so we can coordinate on something. Recall how we talked about Durrandon defeating the Powers in a battle and seizing some of their territory as reparation? Well, I wanted him to turn this new territory into a Zarbanian puppet state in the manner of the German Empire's Russian puppet states in WWI, and I figured you'd like to coordinate it with me. Here goes a list of idea I have in regard to it.

    • Firstly, it will be called the Confederate Powers of Zarbania, a name that will appeal to its subjects to back when Zarbania was only a Confederacy. Helps cement the population's loyalty and they won't think as much about it being a puppet state.
    • Its flag:
      Zarbanian Eastern Confederation Flag
    • The Confederacy will not be interested in taking over the Zarbania Powers. There might be border skirmishes, but for the moment it exists solely to keep an eye on the Powers and to make sure they don't disrupt ICO's empire.
    • Now this last one is more of a concept that I'd like to put out there than something concrete. Eco created the idea of the Lobes, a group of Skordi under Unitech's control that were cloned from a Skordi hero called the Black Beast. My idea was for one of them to be like Spar from Star wars (Jango clone who has Jango's memories and takes over Mandalore). Perhaps this clone could become the leader of the Kingdom of Talnir and at it to the Confederacy?

Any other ideas you have are welcome. As I said, I'd like for you to collaborate with me on this since its your fiction that it sprouted from.

    • I'm not sure I can go with that. Zarbania rarely sets up colonies in other galaxies, and the Mendel respect the New Republic too much to act so boorishly in Cyrannus. That's not even getting into why Kirta and Gridlock would both personally despise acting that way towards native races.

I've had my doubt about a lot of this story, now that I think about it. Most of it involves my main fiction getting kicked in the teeth repeatedly, and struggling to respond. I already let the ACC get kicked out of the core, but now you want TZP and the MP to get the shit kicked out of them even further, while they act completely out of character? The ZP loses 15% of their empire, and now my fiction acts like a bunch of colonial overlords and gets their balls kicked in?

Now, I get it, in stories involving wars and battles and such, everyone has win some and lose some before it ends. But let's go down the list and see if this is fair.

      • ACC, one of the most powerful empires in Mirus, armed with radioactive plasma weaponry and radioactive ships, and united in goal and purpose, and who maintain agents around the galaxy to watch everything, is taken by surprise, beaten up, have their (radioactive) ships looted, and kicked out of the inner core by a bunch of pirates and various scum.
      • Zarbania - One of the most affluent powers in Mirus, who have stood their own even when outnumbered and outgunned and faced far more advanced empires, are kicked in the face by a bunch of pirates, forced to give up 15% of their empire, and after trying to establish colonies elsewhere, is kicked in the face again, and forced to sue for peace.
      • Mendel - One of the most doughty groups in Mirus, having fought the Drakodominatus Tyranny, near-godlike in their power and weaponry, the Galactic Empire of Cyrannus and many others who far outstrip them, and survived to tell about it, are suddenly outmaneuvered and outsmarted by criminal scum, and after acting completely out of character in Cyrannus, are kicked in the face again, and have to sue for peace.

This entire thing feels like just one big shit show for my fiction, and being forced to get the crap kicked out of it over and over again. Your ICO never seems to lose at any point, there never seems to be any setbacks, and I have yet to see you discuss anything relating to that idea at any point. In fact, it seems like my empires are just here to be glorified red shirts for your uber powered characters, so excuse me if I'm starting to get a little annoyed with this chain of events.

    • Actually I was planning to have Zarbania and the Mendel destroy ICO, or end up its allies. But its not going to feel like a well-deserved victory if they don't seriously take damage. Besides, the colonies story isn't really the Mendel and Powers. I was thinking more like British East India Company stuff. Thats why they're out of character, because they're doing it without Kirta and Grid's knowledge. I guess I didn't make that clear.

ICO will be losing a battle against the UBA in the future, so they are not invincible. Just at the moment they're consolidated together, but eventually they will probably crumble. If it makes you feel any better, Eco was talking about having ICO fight the Waptoria, so its not just your fiction.

I'm sorry you feel that I'm shitkicking your fiction. That's not my intention. I really like your fiction. That's why I wanted you to help design the Zarbania puppet state. I should have explained why I was making the plot decisions I was.

I hope that settles your worries.

  • So I've been giving a lot of thought to the coming battle when Fenric once again tries to usurp Kirta. The Hundred Years' War influenced idea I had. I'm considering the possibility that Fenric should die on Ugandalore, but not by Kirta or Deloros' hand. His final victory, really, is rather than take the throne he denies anyone the chance for revenge. Though I'm also considering killing him, then having his druid buddies chant him back to life, but that could also happen early on, only for him to die for good at the end.

How he will die for good is this: after the final battle in the snows, Fenric will be severely wounded. Suffering from several cuts and stab wounds, bleeding out fast, and freezing to death, Fenric slumps against a tree. Kirta finds him and taunts him, then sentences him to death. When she asks him if he has any last words, he says

Alright then, do your duty... and kneel before your king. Go on, Kirta fucking Clett, KNEEL!

She raises her sword to kill him, but then he sees the crow, and tells her to wait. He asks if she believes in an afterlife, and she says yes. Fenric says that for all his part as a fanatic, he didn't believe a word about the afterlife.

But, if that's where I'm going, I'll give Barda your love, and tell him...I'm sorry, and...

Then he slumps over, bled to death. The crow lets out a loud caw, and flies away.

I've come up with some good ideas, and gotten some influence from the Great Sith War. Are you familiar with it? Its when the Mandalorian Crusaders arise. My personal favorite of all the Sith war stories. I'd also like to feature some magic elements too, since Fenric and his ilk do worship gods of fire and water. Namely Fenric calling down a hail and lightning storm that decimates Kirta's armada and war machines at the beginning, and a Joan of Arc type scene where some overenthusiastic Kirta supporters (probably Tul'kaarin) burn a girl who fights for Fenric at the stake, only for the fire and water gods to make her immune to fire and let her turn the flames against her executioners. And for the hell of it, let's have Fenric or someone call down a big tsunami just for giggles.

However, I am stuck in a bit of a storytelling knot. Fenric can't have a resurgence unless he and his armies leave Ugandalore and join up with Chakuto for a big crusade, but if they leave then Ugandalore returns to normal and another invasion is infeasible. Any thoughts?

A few more ideas I've had:

    • I'd like clans on both sides to go extinct, just to show how terrible a battle it is.
    • Chokuto and his Platoon could help in the war by fighting alongside Fenric? Though if you're OK with it I'd like for them to abandon Fenric at the end, knowing he's marching to his death anyway.
    • While in Cyrannus (or through an emissary) Fenric hires 200,000 mercenaries to bolster his cause. Shadow Hunters?
    • Fenric has a massive fleet of warships called the Golden Fleet, since they're plated in copper, given to him by Clan Greenborn. During the war, as men from the northern continent go south to fight, a renegade captain seizes several ship and tries to seize the northern lands for himself.
    • I think it'd be cool if Prex Cano gathers all the Dead Watcher chieftains together, proclaims he's been working for Kirta as a spy all along, and rallies the men into fighting against Fenric for Kirta, then signalling his men to kill them all, the whole "fight for Kirta" thing being just a trap.
    • The Lord of the Isles. Not sure what that could be, but I like R. R. MacIan's painting of MacDonald, Lord of the Isles, and since we're all doing Celt stuff...

    That's quite a rambling post.

Oh, and I have no idea what the name of the story should be, so if you have any, shoot.

    • I was just thinking that perhaps we should speculate on a few ideas regarding Halverg Vermillion, who is Fenric's last brother, and what he should do. I'm sort of in favor of him going on a crusade in Cyrannus.

He's different than Fenric quite a bit, by the way. He's not being eaten away by a struggle between good and evil like Fenric, nor obsessed with honor and duty. He's more primal and savage. While he does care a lot about his family and friends, he is certainly more inclined to resort to extreme violence to get results.

For example, while Fenric was always full of remorse for betraying Barda, and was happy to work with his enemies to ensure everyone's survival during the Ascension, Halverg would rather backstab his foes and lead the defense himself.

Furthermore, he just doesn't have the charisma or flat-out reputation Fenric did, so unless we come up with some ideas for him, he'll just flicker out instead of going down with a massive bang like his brother.

Two things to know about him:

He's married to a Feral Clanswoman who claims to be a priestess for her people. Unlike Fenric, his matching isn't loveless, but he still deosn't quite trust her. Either way, no matter what happens after Fenric's death, the three thousand or so Ferals left will join Halverg.

He was planned from the start to be the last survivor and to go on a crusading rampage to avenge his brother, so this isn't a spur of the moment change. Some of his personality and such was inspired by the Beltran-Leyva brothers who run one of the Mexican cartels.

I'd like to hear your opinions.
