This is a pre-recorded message directed to you because of your involvement in empires listed as mining or refining andasium in the andasium page. There is currently a discussion regarding a possible technical rewrite of the element in progress here. At this time, you are free to list your complaints, questions, or ideas.
No major changes will probably take place; the rewrite is mainly for purposes of establishing specific numbers for the energy density, and possibly physical and chemical properties at large of andasium.
I'm asking some of the other wiki admins this same thing, but I'm curious if this community has ever considered enabling the discussions feature. Having a modern and easy area for users to communicate that is integrated into the wiki can increase activity and adds another reason to keep users coming back. Adding this feature basically upgrades the wiki from just an encyclopedia, into a comprehensive fan destination and a place for users to hang out, rather than just visiting the wiki quickly for some information, and then leaving. It could help invite fresh energy, new ideas and conversations, and help sustain the community.
Discussions will be a part of wikis on the "United Community Platform" that Fandom is in the process of rolling out, so it might be useful to have this wiki's users familiar with the system, before we all move into the new platform.
If you'd like, I could enable this feature for the wiki and it could possibly encourage new editors to join (or old ones to return). Let me know.
You can find more information about it at these links:
I thought I would reach out to you, since you are one of the most recently-active administrators here.
I am this wiki's new Wiki Manager. I am here on behalf of Fandom to support your wiki's community, help it grow and thrive and act as a liaison between you, and full-time staff. If you, or any other users of this wiki ever have an issue or question related to editing, templates, wiki design, or Fandom policies etc. please feel free to contact me on my message wall, and I will assist in any way I can. I have already made a forum post to introduce myself to the wiki community, and have also joined the wiki's Discord server, so I can be even more accessible to users. - Sitb(Message wall / Talk page) 00:54, February 20, 2020 (UTC)
I've been meaning to say this for a while, but I'm sorry for a lot of the stuff I've done, like with the Marinox, and with your other stuff. I was a new user then, trying to make it in the wiki and be like you, Cyrannian and others, and have this big expansive universe, and I didn't realize what it took to make that. I don't know if you'll ever read this, but with my Alpha Marinox and others, I was trying to make it stand out, make it be as original as stuff like yours. I screwed up a lot, I acted like an idiot, but I'm sorry for everything that happened.
I wish I could go back and act differently, but, despite our limited interactions, I'm glade I meet you. You're a great guy and writer, and I wish I could be more like you in everything. Whatever happens, good luck.
Hi, Oluap! Some time ago, I classified your Khalmartia in a pelycosaur family called Baslikia, which is now considered a wastebasket. My plan is to make a new primate family for creatures inspired by lamias (like yours), Lamiaidae, and the Khalmartia would be moved to it. Do you agree with this change?
Spinker is currently classified as a "fish-headed reptile". However, the face, despite using the shark mouth, does not give off the immediate "fish" feel that everything else in the taxon has, and they have wings. Perhaps it should be in Drakidae instead?
