  • Can my fiction empire be enemies with yours in the year 2261, and then become allies after a battle?

  • Hello. I was planning on creating a new fiction empire whose origins would be in the Great Lakes region, and I was told to ask you about it since your empire controls that area. Here is the basic outline of my idea:

So in Sporeverse, the Great Lakes on Earth are different than in real life. The coasts are wracked by extremely harsh storms, and any ships that brave them come under attack by vicious pirates. The constant freezing rain and giant waves have battered deep caverns into the rocky coastline, and these are inhabited by demon-worshiping cannibals. Highwaymen, mob lords, and petty tribes rule the southern areas, and in the north, tundramen war with wildfolk. This being a much, much harsher area than in real life, the human empire that runs North America never bothered to pacify it, and the whole thing is sort of quarantined.

Now, on the islands, traders, merchants, exiled warriors, and former soldiers have formed private lordships of their own, building wooden ships, trading with the mainlands, and occasionally making war on one another. On one island lives a gloomy fellow who hates the North American empire. He longs to escape and live away from their influence, or better yet, destroy them. Through a process which I won't describe here, he unites the entire area into the Great Lakes Kingdom and fights a bloody battle to seize spaceships, which he does. He and his empire flee from Earth, knowing they can't return without sufficient force to back them up.

I mostly just require your permission to use this as an origin story, since I plan for this character and his empire to be involved in the Mirus galaxy.

  • I'm creating a fiction, the Medwedian Democratic Federation that's located in the Lower Sagittarius Arm region, not far from the TIAF. We're currently drawing out multiple wars; one of them will see intervention from Shiznasty's fictions. Are you interested in participating?

  • Will it possible to be on the IRC in the future to continue writing the conflict? I have been on daily so I can do it if you can, the Xonexi meeting for peace talks is in the future of the war anyways so we can do it. Also if the talks take too long we can talk to Charles about it.

    • Yeah, I think that's certainly possible. Though, have you taken a look at the Discord channel yet? That might be a better platform. I find Discord a more convenient platform, if nothing else because you don't lose track of conversations if you get disconnected for some reason.

I'm on the Discord about everyday in the afternoon PST, though if you want to do it on IRC, I can also do it on IRC in roughly that same timeframe.

    • Oh? Are we transferring over to Discord? I have been kind of under a rock with that stuff >.>

    • End of the war, with everyone busy with schooling and so forth I was wondering how you would like to end the war? Monet is sort of gone now so a Xonexi Conclusion to the war is unlikely or at least more difficult. So I was wondering about alternative solutions to the war and what you think of that.

Eldarisia will not push past the central portion of Marko since it is aware of basically the trip wire present if they push further and how more nations will join the war for and against Eldarisia so they would ask to open peace conferences once they gain central Marko if they do.

  • Would you like to do more so of summary for now since you are busy so we could move things along. I know it has been sometime and I think doing a summary could help move things along and also establish certain things. The issue I see being the Xonexi meetings which we could discuss with Charles if we agree to do a summary.

  • Hello,

I'm hoping to escalate the Marko Colonial War by temporarily giving Eldarisia a significant advantage. Would the Levisala Confederacy be willing to provide assistance to the Talven Empire in this goal?

  • So I've decided on it and Eldarisia will do the secretive political funding plan you came up with, of course their might be a story to go along with it showing Sylo deciding, but who knows. Anyways, we can continue speaking whenever on the IRC about the war plan, see you soon. :D

    • Do you want to rename the war? I know you talked about naming it something else some time ago and I want to know if you still want to rename it.

  • So I have finally created a concrete idea for a war or conflict between Eldarisia and the GSC. Since the GSC has member states, what if the Lustergan Trade Federation secedes and tries to take the Bogdouri Empire with it. They would secede from a large fall in public opinion of Spode. This would cause the GSC to enforce it, causing the nations to feel mistreated and wish for independence. A conflict would then occur between them and end in the two nations fleeing to Eldarisia for protection. Then the Eldarisian's would agree and demand the GSC to stand down before force must be used. (This would start the war)
