The maraca is an instrument in the tribal stage that is used to ally with another tribe that is not hostile to your tribe. Tribes will demand different sounds, which will vary but will only consist of instruments that have been unlocked by the player's tribe. The maraca is placed as the second Tribal Stage social action (hotkey 2). If your creature is a herbivore, the maracas will be the default instrument.
