Jupiter is a Gas Giant in the Sol System. It and Saturn, Uranus and Neptune never have any Spice, unlike some glitched gas giants that carry White spice because the game forces it to be uninhabited.

However, Ganymede, Jupiter's moon, can be colonized and has Yellow Spice or (rarely) Purple Spice.

Trivia

  • Jupiter has very thin rings made from dust particles.
  • Jupiter does not have the Great Red Spot. This may be interpreted as a sign that the Great Red Spot storm has ended, or that it may not even have started yet around the time Spore takes place. A more "technical" reason may be an error on Maxis' part by accidentally leaving out the Great Red Spot during development.
