This ability causes damage to buildings and vehicles and can help capture cities
Gadget Bomb is the Civilization stage consequence ability for getting the Aggressive trait card in Tribal stage.
Effect
A Gadget Bomb is basically a one hit kill thermonuclear ICBM. Using it results in a -90 Used Nuclear Weapons relationship with all nations. To use it you have to acquire 4 cities, 16,000 Sporebucks and most importantly, you have to had ended the Tribal stage as an aggressive race. It is an Atomic bomb, to be precise. It generally is not worth using because it renders large city building slots unavailable and make the city you use it on effectively worthless. However they do enough damage to kill vehicles and even epics in one hit. In the Space stage, it is "replaced" with the Anti-Matter Bomb.
References
The name is a reference to the name of the first atom bomb ever detonated, which was code named "the Gadget".
