We need to do something with all the fiction people are writing. I don't want to keep moving them into the content namespace, as they are not spore (downloadable) content. They aren't even concept content pages (which someone decided to start deleting without consulting me anyway). So what do we do? If we were to put it all on an user subpage we'd either have to disable anonymous editing (block IPs) or force all fiction writers to register or else delete it. If we were to create a new "fiction" namespace that would leave us the dilemma to decide if the concept page about creature X (complete with backstory) is fiction or concept. Anyone have a clever idea? Ose t/c 22:42, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
I wonder who started deleting abandoned concept pages :D I wanted to help, but I don't have any ideas. OluapPlayer 22:57, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Why not put all fiction on subpages of the creature it's about? Then the concept creatures still can go. morgoth t/C 02:19, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- /me already voted on a fiction namespace ages ago.

The fact that people began to delete concept pages actually sort of disgusts me and I think personally destroys a large awesomeness of the wikia, as it was not only a place where someone could place their creatures they successfully made, but release their imagination to a full extent for extraterrestrial species, where there was never a place to do so before. I am in the process of converting my pages over to Spore pages (as I have indeed created all of them in Spore now), but considering I have about an hour a day to do stuff that isn't work or sleep needed for work, it will take me quite a while (especially since I've had to do Christmas shopping instead lately). Deleting the concept information was extremely foolish in my humble opinion, and will likely drive away many of the old dedicated folks from the two years or so before Spore came out, but that's your choice, I suppose. While there were a LOT of pages of conceptual information, it should have just been moved my switching the Content: at the beginning of the article title to Concept:. I don't want you to think for a moment that I agree with it, but I will go along with the orders, albeit somewhat begrudgingly. As for straight fiction though, I haven't seen anything, other than background information about a species, which I think should be okay...but I doubt that's what you're referring to. - Somarinoa 07:05, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
So your the guy who deleted my pages for no good reason? First of all, I ain't writing no fiction! I just need to get the pictures up! - DragoraX
Maybe someone could make a spore fan-fic wikia but thats just me. - Silver_Wolf1
I have submitted the Spore Fanfic wiki idea to Wikia! Hope they make it! Jellybean123 09:23, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- I say we should create a (Content: fiction: creature X) ummmm... page. and let people use this to create fiction ideas, but only registered users and only about existing creatures or planets in this Wiki's Spore Universe. What do you think? Captian Zaco 17:45, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- A nice idea, but we want to get rid of all the fiction, that is why some users deleted or moved the concept pages to content pages. Wormulon 17:54, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Just a question. What about pages that have nothing to do with specific creatures, but also aren't under one user's control. What namespace should be used for that? Thanks, TimeMaster Talk Main Contribs 14:03, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I' with Jelly Bean on this one guys, we need a seperate wiki for all the GamingSteve typeof stuff. User:Spore Games/Sig 04:17, 01 April 2009 (UTC)
