Ever since launch, numerous artists made a set of creatures from the Pokédex of the Pokémon franchise. Since it's used and popularized by millions of players, do you think the Pokémon sporecast ought to have its own article?

There's so much literature to be typed on a Pokémon article. There are spaceships made into the shapes of Pokéballs, other Pokémon-related objects, and even enlarged versions of Pokémon themselves. I think it's quite cool to have ships of fellow Pokémon allies fight the Grox together.
So, what do you think? Does this sub-set of Spore species deserve its own article? (Please state your rationale when you answer.) --ENG 00:20, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
- Hmmm, many popular shows (like Star Trek and other sci-fi's) have thousands of creations. And since they are fan made (including Pokemon), and have little to do with the actual Spore game or the Pokemon franchise, I don't think we should have an article for it. You could, however create a subpage from the your own userpage as a project, but a Pokemon article is likely to be deleted (one was deleted in fact - Pokemon). But lets see what other users say as well. Also if a user wants to write about a Pokemon creation/s he or she has created, they can.

- My thought on it is that they are popular because it's Pokemon. It's been around for a long time, so there's bound to be a huge fanbase. And, if we do make a Poke' page, and not, say, Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Dungeons and Dragons, which have all been around for a long time and are bound to have a couple Sporecasts, then their fanbase's may cry bias. - The thing is, the creators who are making Pokemon are not the official artists, they are fan made. If the official artists did something (lets say a mini game or a competition for the best Pokemon sporecast), then maybe it deserves a page. Wormulon Talk to me 11:51, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

- Well i'm not against it, but I think it should be generally kept separate from the main articles.
