So, recently a discussion came about, whether we should allow the user's navboxes to be in the template space. We're either going to allow them all to be in the space, or none of them. On one hand, the navboxes and templates users create are their templates, not the wiki's. The main wiki's templates are the templates to be used across everywhere, not just personal fiction. It is implying that anyone can edit those, and it is everyone's. So you cannot claim that a navbox you create in the templatespace is your own.
On the other hand, the Msg templates exist there. But then again, Msg templates I have restricted to being subpages of Template:Msg. That may possibly change.
As for changing the names everywhere, that's a total non-issue. My bot will handle that.
So what does everyone think?-- Technobliterator TC 16:55, March 26, 2014 (UTC)

- I don't mind either way. I'd rather have one or the other, due to consistency, though.-- Technobliterator TC 16:55, March 26, 2014 (UTC)
- This is a purely aesthetic change you're suggesting. Considering it doesn't harm the wiki in any way beside possibly mess with your OCD, I say keep it the way it is now and don't change anything. OluapPlayer - Hon hon hon! 17:32, March 26, 2014 (UTC)
- I say don't change anything, keep everything the way it is and how users like their stuff. Honestly there's no problem to be found here, it's just a matter of preference. TheHachi (talk 17:37, March 26, 2014 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what real advantages there would be in making this change, but then, perhaps you can tell me any. --Wormulon Talk to me 17:46, March 26, 2014 (UTC)
- I'd like everything to stay the way it is. LawfulInsane (talk) 08:08, March 27, 2014 (UTC)

To Wormulon; the advantages are minimal, it is a pure consistency thing. Currently we have no policy in place regarding naming anything, I just wanted to make sure we wanted to keep things that way. By the looks of things, I don't think anyone's bothered in particular, which I suppose suggests that no, it doesn't matter to anyone. Like Oluap said, it is indeed, a purely aesthetic change.-- Technobliterator TC 18:01, March 26, 2014 (UTC)
