Vhija-Efgrowd, also known as Moisty Rainleaves, Rainleaf trees, sanka or simply Rainleaves, are a large oak species native to Xuz Fareh.

Biology[]

Description[]

Moisty Rainleaves aren't too big for being trees, standing at a maximum height of roughly 6 meters and a maximum weight of around 3 tonnes.

Moisty Rainleaves superficially resemble generic Earth trees. They have long and thick trunks, which are usually slightly curved, splitting in strange, almost rectilinear branches, all of them made of brown bark which is usually covered in a species of mold known as Rainmold (Fahreskurus sp.). Their leaves, which are ovoid and light green, form a dome-like shape above their branches. Their roots are long and thick, similar to those of Earth's trees. Moisty Rainleaf fruits, which are commonly known as Forefruits, are round with some leaves at the top and four strange prolongations branching from the top of the fruit, which actually consist the edible part of the fruit, with the central round part containing a large round seed. These fruits are usually reddish orange with a dark underside.

Habitat[]

Moisty Rainleaves inhabit the small but dense forests of Xuz Fareh. They make up a large part of the landscape, together with other sessile organisms such as Forebushes and Rainshrooms.
