Fishing Spear is a partial consequence tool used in the Tribal Stage that helps Tribal Members fish more efficiently. It's available to any tribes with any diet but it's the default tool for carnivores and omnivores. It increases the fishing rate by 200%, so one successful catch with a Fishing Spear will gather 3 food compared to 1 with bare hands. It can be unlocked by befriending or destroying an AI-controlled tribe and requires 20 food to be deployed.

Fishing Spears cannot be used in combat, the wielders will fight with their natural abilities when engaged in combat.
Trivia[]
- The chieftain's staff can be used in a similar manner to the Fishing Spear, which also gathers food at the same rate.
- The Fishing Spear cannot be used as a weapon, despite its head is somewhat sharp enough to catch fish.
- Even with Fishing Spear equipped, a tribesman can still miss his first catch upon fishing at a new fishing spot.
