Transmission from the Drodo Empire[]
I am Hiar Karlinh, broadcasting via radio transmission from a starship just outside of your solar system as a representative on the Drodo Empire's behalf coming to extend a humble greeting to the greater universe, and a simple agreement and request.
My proposal is this; We, the Drodo Empire, will help your nation technologically; We will provide you ships, propulsion, research assistance, arms, civilian technology, anything you can imagine. In exchange, we ask that we can set up a small, out-of-the-way observation post on the edge of your solar system. You will have full knowledge of its location at all times and you will reserve the right to board or to peacefully evict the occupants at any time. I realize that such a proposal so early, and so suddenly will be a lot to take in, and we fully understand if you decline our offer. We hope you will consider it for the betterment of both our peoples.
