The Black Roses are one the UPD's special forces, they are primarily composed of Vanara Psychokinetics, Boyk Skin Stealers, Aranthrone, Verasien Sta-Tic Projectors, Tyrant Class Demonica, and Soul Lineage Precore Dragons. They mainly act as a force for combating essence and anti-essence forces coming with a combination of essence and anti-essence forces themselves. They also act as a inquisitorial force and anti-inquisitorial force, both keeping tabs on religions and cults to ensure they act with in the regulations of the Empire has set on them, ensuring those who defy those regulations are swiftly annihilated, keeping banned religions out, and preventing other inquisitorial forces from meddling in the UPD's business.

The Black Roses prefer to use surprise and stealth when combating their foes. Lying in wait and then springing their trap in vicious surprise attack before penetrating deep in the enemy ranks wrecking havoc as they cut down foe after foe in quick succession. They also will use their reputation and terrifying nature to spread panic and fear among enemy forces. They will often impale dead enemies on stakes and leave their bodies carved with a rose symbol in their chest. Commander have often reported that their troops have been unable to sleep after hearing the name Black Roses. They also commonly work in coordination with UAE Koatria and other such forces, especially the Vahallan Black Thorns convent.
Specialist Ranks[]
The Black Roses mainly rely on a relatively different weapons the the rest of the UPD military. They make use of Railguns that fire bullets that generate an EMP, Disruption Pulse Weapons that fire bright green pulse that disintegrate their targets, and AEC(Active Energy Canceling) augment melee weapons that cancel out the energy(kinetic or other wise) of enemy weapons they strike causing them to cease to function. Their make use of specialized Fold Out Armor with anti-essence capabilities and AEC projectors for defense. The Black Rose's main combat vehicle is the Eonian, a highly versatile atmosphere and land combat capable mech that can wield multiple equipment types and roll into a ball.
They also have specific code names depending on the species the solider belongs to. Vanara are referred to as Black Rose x, Demonica as Red Rose x, Boyk as Golden Rose x, Aranthrone as Blue Rose x, Verasien as White Rose x, and Soul Precore Dragons as Violet Rose x.
Appearance[]
The Black Roses primary colors are black, purple, and red. The primary armor layer being black, the under layer being purple, and with a red trim. Their faces are usually obscured with a dark helmet. Each member has the personal insignia on the right shoulder pad, the insignia is a rose of the color matching their species with a symbol to represent them imposed over it. For example Nara as the Black Rose Queen has a Black Rose with a crown imposed over it.
