Scientia potentia est.

The Urnin Fraternity is an organization of Urnin devoted to the gathering of knowledge related to the Simulacra. The order is based in Falgen Castle, which is situated in the valley of Urnithen. Several members of the order have also joined foreign organizations, though their exact goals have not yet been revealed.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Structure[edit | edit source]

The Urnin Fraternity has no central leadership, and thus relies on the collaboration of its members. However, several members hold greater influence over the organization, usually due to experience. The Fraternity is primarily made up of Urnin, though a few Ocuglobi have significant roles, while several foreigners unknowingly further its interests.

Individual members all specialize in an individual field, such as infiltration, hunting, archaeology, assassination, and translation. Often, more experienced members will master two fields, while a few will study three. In Falgen Castle itself, more mundane tasks are shared between all members, regardless of skill.

The Urnin (literally "skull-dwarves"), otherwise known as Harstag's Folk, are a race of dwarven deiwes who live within Urnithen, in the Eastern Plains of Koldenwelt. These Dwarves founded the Urnin Fraternity after being transformed in beings resembling Ocuglobi. They are powerful warriors, though many of their kind choose instead to study The Source.

Ocuglobi are descended from the outsiders that traveled from Pavor to the valley that would become Urnithen. Though they had a greater and more obvious effect on their new environment, Koldenwelt had a significant effect on them, diminishing the alien nature of their biology and minds. Ocuglobi like to boast that their minds are beyond the comprehension of 'mere mortals', and are very dangerous in combat.
