One of the younger spacefaring superpowers in the Milky Way, the Jovar Empire has grown exponentially in its 500 years of existence, thanks mostly to its aggressive imperialism over smaller nations and powerful industrial hegemony over other nations. Though technically a monarchy, most power and statutes are actually dictated by the Chancellor, who is appointed by the Emperor himself. The nation's population is represented by an elected, yet limited Parliamentary system. The most notable aspect of the Empire, its strict militarism, has allowed it to assume relative safety and prosperity within the galaxy without fear of foreign invasion. The social revolutions of the Empire's early years also garnered her people immense personal freedoms, though other issues such as extra-species slavery and government corruption plague an otherwise ideal authoritarian nation.

Milky Way Andromeda Collision

The skies of Earth during the Rise of the Jovar era.

This Universe diverges from the main Sporewiki Fiction Universe sometime around the 23rd century (Earth years), and takes a more literal approach to Jovar1's original ideas for his fiction. Taking place approximately 3 billion years in the future, the major empires of the main Universe have all but died out or ascended to a higher state of existence. In this Universe, the Jovar homeworld of Jora lost its sudden ability to rotate at extremely high speeds almost immediately after the seeding of life by the humans, causing the Jovar and the rest of Jora's flora and fauna to evolve at a much slower pace, though identical in their final results. The Milky Way is now on the verge of colliding with the Andromeda Galaxy, and as a result species from both galaxies have begun to interact, trade, and exchange blows for the first time (the secrets to intergalactic travel having been lost hundreds of millions of years ago in a great "Dark Age"). Recent stirs have caused the five great powers of the Milky Way to erupt in large-scale warfare, and the once peaceful Universe-41396 is now threatened to be destroyed by the events to come...

Grox Federation

The sole remants of the once-powerful Grox Meta Empire, the Federation has remained relatively docile and helpless since its defeat to the Jovar hundreds of years ago, a defeat that left the cyborgs humiliated and forlorn. Having long forgotten the ancient technologies and traditions of the former Meta-Empire, the Federation instead relies on steadily-aging technology; social unrest and a stagnant economy have further helped to number the days of the dying empire...
