As a nest of creatures, the leader of the nest was the strongest, dominant male Sylit. In the tribal era, the leader of the tribe, the chief, is the strongest, smartest Sylit. In the civilization stage, the leader of the country was the military leader. At the Space Age, the leader was the leader of SESEP (Sylit Empire Space Exploration Program). But in 245 S.A., the Sylits changed from a stratocracy to a republic under the Veatrex Document. Currently, the leader of the Sylit Republic is Admiral Dondrik. The Sylit Republic is led by a democratically elected leader (from either the SESEP/Military party, Religious party, or Managerial party) and his/her legislature.
Government
Executive Branch
The current leader of the Sylit Republic is Grand Admiral Dondrik. A emperor of SR is assisted by a senate, consisting of the heads of the various government departments. In the event of the death or incapacitation of the emperor, the vice emperor and the trivial emperor are included in the line of succession.
Legislative Branch
The Republic legislature is bicameral. The upper house is the Veatrex Senate, with each Zone represented by a supervisor, each with one vote. The admiral of SR is also the presiding officer of the Senate, with the authority to break tying votes.
