The United Republic of Nations is a member of the Mou'Cyran Accords
"United in the hopes of a better future..."
“Towards the victory, even if alone.”
- - General Baysid Marsenfat
United Republic of Nations, (epj. Zsàfrha Durú Feriygaú, kas. Tadsaè Feriyg Oiyùm) is an association of numerous civilizations inhabitating Mirus and Cyrannus galaxies in the First Gigaquadrant. Proclaimed in 2492 through Wedan Declaration, URN is regarded as the legacy of the Seran culture. As federation of dozens of spieces salvaged from galaxy immersed in chaotic war, URN poses as multicultural realm, bringing together benefits of both decentralized and centralized forms of administration.
URN government directly administer over 71,192 systems with 143,819 planets colonized and 19,133 systems during colonization process. Despite it's rather small size, URN develops several very advanced technologies in the range of communication, weaponry and chemistry.
The Republic's capital, Uan'Bhei, is located in Kogra Triangulum region of the Cyrannus Galaxy. Considering it's origins, history, low development and political status, URN is important rather only in local sector.
First Union (1289-1903)Edit
Most of the URN members are descendants of lost, Seran culture. These states come from Sera galaxy, once hid in endless void surrounding Gigaquadrant. Major species of URN started to emerge from Seran dust around 270,000 years ago, quickly developing on various worlds among billions of life-giving planets. According to The Only Truth, text of the so-called Church of the Unseen, all life ever existing in Sera was created by a mythical ancient civilization, referred to as The Unseen. Despite being a popular belief, there are next to none known authentic sources of information which could confirm that. Around 500 A.D., Tal’Sheez, Zuriattans and other Serans begun their expansion in native galaxy, globular clusters and satellite galaxies surrounding Sera. As the nations started colonizing nearby systems, it became clear that old galaxy is not to remain a peaceful place forever. Major conflicts begun to start around 1200 A.D., when rapidly expanding empires and interstellar republics insisted on their territorial claims. Periods of peace were short and uncertain, with warring states breaking truces and treaties on a daily basis.
Guaranteeing stable alliances and treaties became harder with every month. In 1289, Zuriattans and Tal’Sheez signed an unification agreement, which led to creation of the First Union. Region of galaxy settled by these nations remained relatively calm for next centuries to come, however perceptible tensions between major empires of Sera started to compromise safety of the first Union members, which by 1550 consisted of 28 autonomous states. First Union adopted the title of peaceful realm, yet it was meant to undergo the war, which was to end the history of Sera.
Great Seran War (1871-1903)Edit
- Main article: Great Seran War
By 1892, Symens and Joviocans signed a peace treaty, however both of these nations still fought with hundreds of other republics, states and empires. In order to prevail through raging conflict, some nations simply left Sera using wormholes, black holes or using FTL drives. Many of mightier powers took that as an act of cowardice and started to hunt down escaping fleets, one by one. With each month, population of Sera was dropping around 5 to 7%. Manpower reserves started to decay, Empires fell into internal conflicts as more and more planets surrendered to flames and gunfire tearing apart millennia-old cultures.
Being aware of the terrible situation of the First Union, the Great Council decided to search for alternative ways of surviving the war. The research proved obsolete and misleading – results clearly shown, that there’s but one way of surviving – escaping Sera.
The great project, codenamed „Symeron” (Ancient city sieged by hostile forces, whose inhabitants successfully fled the city, deceiving the attackers). First Union secretly proceeded to gather fleet, which was to evacuate billions of people from other civilizations, as well as from members of the Union. By the end of 1903, the fleet already consisted of 1,299,183 spaceships carrying over 7 billion Sera inhabitants. By the end of 1905, this number was to grow exponentially, up to over 150 billion escapists.
The “Symeron” project was successfully kept in secret until 27th March, 1905. Dispersed fleet was called to immediate evacuation two weeks after hostile powers detected one of it shards in Oprecif system. Gathered force of over 200 million ships begun its travel to the Promaxis wormhole, located in Zyrkathian territory, not sure about where it might lead. Despite of quick mobilization and excellent command, united forces were attacked near the Warp Gate entrance, blocking access to it for several hours. Strict generals and decisive attacks led to the eventual victory of allied forces, however ransomed by loss of thousands of corvettes, frigates and cruisers. Fleet successfully entered Promaxis and escaped dying Sera galaxy at 21st April 1905. However what happened to the galaxy remains unknown, rumours and exiles tell about the total annihilation of the galaxy and its inhabitants after the final stages of this destructive war.
Exile & Rejuvenation (1905-2492)Edit
Vile wormholes were never an object of interest of Seran civilizations. Their unpredictability and unknown nature effectively shielded them from trespassers and adventurers willing to exploit their potential. Although studied and somehow described in various scientific publications, not a single Seran has ever tried to unveil their secrets. First Union had a little time but to think about the danger lying within them – threat of imminent destruction pushed them to the insane idea of trying to escape using warp gates. Anywise dangerous, Promaxis offered a chance, that was never to appear again. Escapers had no other way but to risk everything.
The ominous interior of this space-time rift proved incredibly helpful, however somewhat dangerous. Although none of the ships in “Symeron” fleet were destroyed during this questionable “trip”, nothing but minor damages to ship hulls were reported. Upon leaving the Sera First Union and fellow civilizations had left behind their origin, home and knowledge.
The exit of Promaxis led to the void surrounding Fism Cloud, which later appeared to be called by their inhabitants the “Cyrannus Galaxy”. The closest stellar group to the exit point was Fism Minor – a globular cluster orbiting Cyrannus. The trip however, was to take over 2 years of drifting without any available resources at the fingertips – thus being unable to repair the damaged ships. All ships that were damaged beyond repair before and during travel were eventually recycled and reused to serve needs of other spaceships - time became the biggest enemy of the “Symeron” fleet. Without the ability to use any of the FTL drives due to mutilated engines of the majority of the ships, this voyage, later called “Covurtasuúd” (epj. The Long Rest) proved to be longer that it was expected.
By the 7th February 1907, “Symeron” fleet reached the Fism Minor.
Rebuilding the Union (1907-2237)EditFismethun" (epj. Fism Haven), repair drones and probes begun exploiting nearby asteroids. Within few days, all damaged ships recovered from damage suffered upon leaving the Promaxis wormhole. Few groups separated from the main fleet, settling on nearby planets, which later developed surprisingly well. Resources which were later gathered in this systems, were used to build Warp Gates, which later connected Fism clusters with Cyrannus. In 1928, first fleets begun their journey to preselected, promising region of Cyrannus Galaxy - Kogra Triangulum. Soon new colonies were established, with Uan'Bhei and Sagmesag being the first.
Expansion & Development (2237-2492)Edit
Rapid economic development at the turn of 23rd and 24th century has led to several exploration campaigns which reached even the core of the galaxy. Deep space mapping let the Serans to gain valuable information about many other states inhabiting the Cyrannus, without being detected for a long time. Quick expansion and broadening of borders has however led to several contacts with foreign civilizations, which mostly soon entered the federation.
Population of the Union started to grow at the similar rate, mostly descendants of last Serans. Quickly increasing amount of citizens enforced new colonial policies, intensified after numerous conflicts between different races and tensions among members of the federation. These have led to major decentralization of the government and division of the homogeneous state to many member states. Although this process was slow, soon it led to significant changes in law and administration of the union, which soon became part of the Wedan Declaration.
Second Union (2492-Today)Edit
Wedan Delcaration marked the beginning of the Second Union - association of nations under united, federational state. Representatives of 20 member states being part of the First Union signed the declaration on 17th February, 2492.
During the next years, several significant law and government reforms and numerous border and international treaties came to life. Federation underwent throughgoing economy development and slow decentralization. This period, later called "Spring" (epj. Viila'ta), lasting until 2506, marked the beginning of major modernization, development and prosperity of the Second Union. Effective changes in legislation have birth to new investitions being kept away from government's affairs. Official programs, like "Symeron II" also led to redevelopment of the Union's fleet, whose effectiveness and number of units increased. Soon, however, after short period of intense economic growth, came minor decline.
Zuriattan Dynastic Crisis (2576-2579)EditIn 2575 died the Grand Zuriattan Suzrain, Dal'aih Kogun, leaving his two sons, Juvet Gón and Tepr' Othin without clear decision which of them was to become new ruler. Juvet Gón assumed control over Zuriattan Gathering, justifying his move with patrimonial law. This, however, was questioned by Tepr', who sent his fleet to Dóchet. Juvet took this as an act of agression, and in response, destroyed fleet and started numerous campaigns in order to capture rogue brother.
In order to end the conflict as quickly as possible, Union organized Conference on Jona. Both sons of Dal'aih came there, however none settlements were made. Despite of humongous political tensions, conflict didn't develop, rather morphing into local raids of hostile fleets.
Next conferention, which took place in 2579 on the same world of Jona led to agreement on enforcing sanctions, or even excluding Zuriattans from Union, provided that conflict continues. Under these circumstances, brothers agreed upon an armistice. Demarcation line was set on the zone of the conflict, eventually leading to setting border between two Zuriattan Gatherings. Both brother's claims to the title of the Grand Suzrain were recognised, however full peace treaty was not to be signed during their lifetimes. Tepr' and Othin marked the beginning og two Zuriattan dynasties: Teprothines and Juvegons, governing respectively High and Minor gatherings. Through next century, tensions continued to decrease, eventually leading to unification of both states under the reign of Unification Council, with both dynasties being in charge of both Gatherings.
Isolationism, Wars with Humeni (2583-2678)Edit
After long crisis within URN, Common Council decided to start isolationism policy to heal the wounds of the Union and to continue peaceful expansion without risking being detected and quickly destroyed. Colonization of worlds slowed down in order to strengthen the defences of the Union, few scout fleets were sent for reconnaissance and mapping missions across whole galaxy. These proved very useful in the future, as URN was to face threat bigger than anything they’ve experienced in Fism cloud.
In 2583, Ahtzai Reconnaissance Unit suddenly disappeared from the vision of the URN. Last received data showed the fleet entering relatively close situated planetary system, marked as Humeni. In order to recover the unit and to check whether it was destroyed by hostile forces, URN sent main defense fleet to Humeni. Immediately after entering orbit of the parent star, unknown ships begun their assault. Union fleet managed to fight off the enemy, recover Ahtzai Unit and escape back to home territory. Soon deep-space scans detected previously unnoticed stellar civilization, which posed great threat to the URN. All allied fleets were recalled to Unevanai, regrouped and sent to examine the enemy. For few days these fleets remained undetected by the enemy, referred to as ‘’Humeni’’ and kept infiltrating the enemy forces from safe distance. The First War with Humeni begun by the end of 2583, when hostile forces attacked URN fleets in Banisvai, Tormuyg and Hollu Dan. Outnumbering enemy forced Union ships to retreat to Nalliygali, merge into two main assault fleets and attack smaller Humeni groups hidden in remote systems. This tactic let the Union destroy around half of enemy forces, however hostile fleets begun their assaults on several distant URN worlds undergoing colonization. Brutality of the enemy led to quick armistice in 2584, however Humeni remained unaware of thousands of spaceships built in the last months by the Union. At the beginning on 2585, URN forces started attacking all detected Humeni fleets in the hostile territory, after these launched successful raids on several core worlds of the Union. Enemy was eventually pushed back after decisive battles of Numoia and Kzva. Around one third of URN ships were destroyed, and almost every remaining one was badly damaged. Truce signed in 2587 forced the enemy to abandon settlements within 70ly from Uan’Bhei, what prevented Humeni raids for next few years.
Rampant Humeni forces however started to attack outer URN worlds 3 years before the end of truce, forcing Union to start another campaign against deadly enemy. In 2607 three main fleets of the URN started to siege enemy core worlds, while forces remaining within borders of the Union guarded its territory. Succesful campaign led to annihilation of Suozó – Humeni capital world, after major battles of Viila and Opsarch won by allied fleet. Third Humeni War ended with decisive victory of the URN, which forced the enemy to destroy their fleet, become protectorate of the URN and abandon all worlds within 100ly from Uan’Bhei.
In 2671, after Humeni recovered from utter defeat, URN ended the former enemy dependency and instead proposed membership. Humeni refused, however later, in 2678 became satellite state of the URN, situated far beyond the borders of the Union. After long time of instability and war, URN have once again chosen to remain hidden from the greatest powers of the Cyrannus. Instead, they expanded their protectorate policy which in the future allowed the Union to expand its realm peacefully.
First contact with Humanity (2679-2700)Edit
The Union haven’t recovered from recent wars yet, when it faced new far bigger threat. For several months, URN was detecting numerous, small fleets located in remote systems of the Kogra Triangulum. However strength of single groups posed no danger to the Union, all unidentified fleets combined together could possibly overwhelm allied forces. More and more new operation groups were sent to investigate intruder presence, as more and more URN remote worlds informed about detection of unknown fleets quickly entering and leaving planetary systems.
Around March, 2679, none of previously detected groups were present in the area. Instead, a single, bigger concentration of unidentified spacecraft started to travel through inhabited URN worlds, possibly searching for core worlds of the Union. In order to counter and neutralize this threat, several operation groups of navy of the URN headed out to meet the intruders in Fxhali system. Upon entering the orbit of the local star, main fleet commander – Óphros vu’Koai Nóu ordered operatives to find a way to contact the unknown fleet. Surprisingly, utilized methods succeeded, letting Óphros to send prefigured flagship several messages. Interlopers were demanded explanation of their presence and ordered to immediately leave the allied territory.
After few minutes of extreme tension and fear of hostile attitude of the threatening spacecraft, Óphros finally received response from intruders. Following days were devoted to investigate the threat and to start diplomatic negotiations between two sides. Foreign force remained open for the Union through next days, however demanded mutual agreements. These were made on the Exhali in 27th June, 2679 and marked the beginning of diplomatic relations between the URN and the alien race of expansionary and collective race, which named itself “the Humanity”.
Over the next years URN gathered more and more information about its new neighbor. Both sides started to familiarize themselves, hundreds of new projects between the Union and Humanity were started each year in order to deepen the bond between two civilizations.
Human settlers soon claimed the title of the Second Visehgrad Agreement Federation.
The White Century (2700-2820)EditLong period of peace in Kogra Triangulum lasting for over 100 years is now known as the “White Century”. During it, Union underwent great development of economy and culture, borders grew quickly, interstellar and interplanetary infrastructure was renovated and expanded. Union made contacts with many other civlizations in Fism Clouds and Cyrannus. During that century, URN population almost doubled, as well as living standards. Unemployment was nearly eliminated, along with poverty. Growth of treasury had let the government to upgrade outdated mining, perimeter and science facilities, colonize new worlds and develop the fleet. Among all Suzrains ruling the Union in this period, Hëra Ul-Biytsvà, known as the White Suzrain gained enormous popularity and support of the society. White Suzrain widened rights of the Common Council, begun 2 colonization campaigns and made contact with United Republic of Cyrannus. He ruled in years 2772-2793, becoming one of the most esteemed figures in the region throughout his 3 terms of office.
Fall of the United Republic of Cyrannus in 0 NE heavily impacted Union’s aspiration to become widely-known in the Cyrannus. 4 years later, due to perilous threat of military invasion by Galactic Empire of Cyrannus, URN joined Mou'Cyran Accords. This decision, made during tenure of Ghvi Quaó’ob Iyena allowed further work in order to strengthen URN and increase its political power. The White Century ended in 15 NE, when Grand Suzrain Läin Eggiys Thyrshé died on Mou’Cyran during attack of the Galactic Empire.
Crisis of Economy and Politics (2820-ongoing)Edit
After death of Läin Eggiys Thyrshé, URN fell into internal turmoil caused by growing threat, being the Galactic Empire of Cyrannus. Although the Empire seems largely unaware of Union’s presence in Cyrannus or simply does not care about it, citizens quickly begun to demand increase in defences. Despite real efforts of the government to pursue will of society, unrest growth is more than noticeable. Recent reports tell about growing corruption and lobbyism following quick election of new Grand Suzrain, Ahes Merren, former Uan’Bhei governor and Tal’Sheez Dominion Protector, however new head of state is known to have next to none connections with major factions outside the government and the Common Council. In few next months after start of his term of office, during public appearance, Ahes Merren claimed, that URN will stand united with other nations in Mou’Cyran Accords, ready to fight the Empire if that proves inevitable.

Decisive position in URN politics indicates their status in the Union.
Dominant species - Ka'ihembrà
Capital world - [Cyr] Finzl, [Ser] Kanänóú
Population - 3.901.452

Living on dry land and in depths of the oceans, Bäuaskú are known for their versatility and endurance in every possible environment. Rapid genetic adaptation to any climate and weather allow them to settle on most of the planets, no matter how toxic or harsh these can be. Although adults can survive on toughest worlds of the Union, juveniles are exceedingly prone to danger and require water tanks to develop from larvae to mature forms.
Dominant species - Arsitóva (Zholam)
Capital world - [Cyr] Moraiheniór
Population - 126.96.36.1990
For many Arsitóva certainly are not appealing, if not even slightly menacing. Everything about them is regarded as exotic - culture, traditions, even habits. Born in Cyrannus on Moraiheniór, Arsitóva, also called Zholam prefer cold, icy worlds striking one's eye with white gleam. They sculpt the reality as they want to with tools they developed in the last few hundred years. Seeking beauty and perfection among their works, Arsitóva became the finest terraformers.

Capital world - [Cyr] Ubram, [Ser] Beréh
Population - 13.298.103.670
Gón-Berhans were always fascinated with machinery, how it works and operates - they learned new technologies extraordinarily quickly, until they were forced to escape dying Sera. Although great amount of their legacy and knowledge was lost with their homeworld, Góanu, these people still prove best in their job. No matter if you're looking for an engineer, pilot, mechanic or even a janitor - Gón-Berhans will usually be the best choice.
Dominant species - Tulójudäl
Capital world - [Cyr] Mehret-Mahem, [Ser] Anväjud
Population - 5.991.320.780
Arthropoid species were surprisingly common in Sera, unlike in First Gigaquadrant. Most of them developed hiveminds scorched yet during the great war. Tulójudäl were special - surely unique. Each individual is exceedingly intelligent, even if sometimes jockingly called shrimps (what they dislike). With their development came one conclusion: trade lets one survive and prosper - and if any conflict occurs, there always will be those, who gain profit.
Dominant species - An-úzià
Capital world - [Cyr] Sidvade, [Ser] Úzià
Population - 13.108.371.670
Among all civilizations of the Union, only one species possesses the ability of active flight. Omnious An-úzià usually are secretive and dislike sharing their emotions and knowledge with others - who they call Nuzxa. They were not like that in the past - clear diplomacy and peaceful attitude let them gain allies, as well as many enemies. As a result, An-úzià were one of the most harmed civilizations during the Great Seran War - the memory of it brings nothing but pain.
Dominant species - Arzak
Capital world - [Cyr] Absitiden, [Ser] Kiushsus
Population - 12.807.310.270
Arzak, also calling themselves Herúli, remain the keepers of the knowledge almost lost back in Sera. They were always fascinated with history, how it shaped the endless worlds, times and the future. Dedicated to preserving what is the most vulnerable, Herúli also pose great scientists, yet poor engineers - they were uplifted by Tal'Sheez before the war, yet even in Dark Times their culture was powerful and sprawling, only growing with time up to this day.
Dominant species - Evern
Capital world - [Cyr] Faragmal
Population - 16.104.576.120
Born on steppes of a tundra world, Evernians quickly mastered agriculture. With time, as their civilization native to Cyrannus grew, they learnt how to manipulate weather and entire biospheres, which they turned into sanctuaries to preserve life. Before joining Union, Evernians already occupied significant chunk of Kogra Triangulum sector - sacred worlds forged by their will and determination hundreds of years ago still thrive and prosper.
Dominant species - Irpid
Capital world - [Cyr] Tekyasret
Population - 8.302.789.380
Often mistaken for Tulójudäli by travellers and tourists, these arthropoid species share many characteristics with their distant Seran cousins. Born in caves of Iria, Irpids, native to Cyrannus, tend to stick together in small societies, called herds. They are slow breeders, often living surprisingly long. Relatively sedentary lifestyles are very common among them - Irpids are naturally dull and poorly sensitive, especially to other species, calling them shrimps.
Dominant species - Tóhu
Capital world - [Cyr] Sagmezaer
Population - 17.809.173.400
Repungant at first sight, Tóhians can be very lively and kind when familiarized. These herbivores are exceedingly proficent when it comes to any kind of architecture - their men were, and still are in charge of countless projects on nearly all worlds of the Union. Despite living in huge conurbations, Tóhians are not social. They prefer to stick together, being harsh to all outcomers, first and foremost when it comes to dealing with insistent people.
Dominant species - Ecumora
Capital world - [Cyr] Filhier, [Ser] Ann'zhuxol
Population - 15.918.231.730
Ecumorans often share traits that are completely contrary to each other. Ecumorans rarely organise any feasts, neither are being invited to banquetes. In spite of that, Ecumorans love to show around others in their magnificent palaces and mansions.
Dominant species - Kh'rk
Capital world - [Cyr] Hrek'krhk
Population - 6.208.912.350
Kh'rk, molluscoid species, seem to be harmless and defenseless when it comes to fighting - despite that popular opinion, Kh'rk pirates were a real menace to the Union forces upon arrival to Cyrannus. Their civilization is not built on society. Instead, common religion and beliefs bind these bizarre creatures together into larger groups called communities. They prefer humid, warm worlds, with Hrek'krhk among them - which they will protect to death.
Dominant species - Uxha
Capital world - [Cyr] Uxhon-von, [Ser] Uxhon
Population - 3.817.241.340
Some say that Uxhans are one of the oldest races which came to life in the entire universe. No matter if it is true, they surely were one of the most advanced Seran races by the time the Union was formed. Born in methane clouds of a gas giant, these floating creatures quickly mastered flight, however it is widely acknowledged that their history must have involved uplifting - the metal sifting they learned incredibly early clearly indicate that.
Dominant species - Sisce
Capital world - [Cyr] Fulla
Population - 188.8.131.520
For a very long time, Siscens lived in tribes on their indigent world of Yrie. Their cultural and technical development was surprisingly slow compared to the one of Serans. Mastery of spacecraft let them to leave the dying homeworld to seek salvation and future among stars of the Kogra Triangulum. Siscens formed their state in small constellation of Rebgràim Leta, hardly and alertly guarding their borders from everyone outside.
Dominant species - Vigri
Capital world - [Cyr] Ashópsús, [Ser] Nussà
Population - 15.209.732.460
Vigri, although influential in URN politics, tend to hide in the shadow of the Common Council. Back in Sera, they created a strong, vast empire, which fell down as the war knocked to their doors. At that time, Vigri were somehow hostile to Union, as its raiding forces sacked a number of their remote worlds. As the time passed, elites of former empire decided to follow other Serans in a desperate, exsanguinate try to escape the dying galaxy.
Dominant species - Nunvàu
Capital world - [Cyr] Zusumn, [Ser] Kelhiga
Population - 12.812.913.930
Nunvàu inhabit relatively small amount of worlds. Most of their population is strongly scattered among Core worlds of the Union. Among others, they are regarded as industrious, hardworking people which submit themselves to a Greater Good. Their recently established government established new policies, which offer Nunvàu in entire Union life among their people, on solely their world, with nobody to pay respect to or to serve.
Dominant species - Csolla
Capital world - [Cyr] Zvol, [Ser] Vaivài
Population - 1.304.817.201
Carved to existence by the Unseen, the pristine Csolla are but mere legacy of their might - thinking crystals, living in magnetic trap fields; just stones when left without their vessels - clear, gleaming quartz enhanced by their Gods with sacred, endless essence. Their prejudice to all outcomers is very well reasoned - in the past, even now, they are hunted by pirates, selling their grinded bodies for horrendous prices on black market.
Dominant species - Zxshilharna
Capital world - [Cyr] Nuróun, [Ser] Zxshilvù
Population - 184.108.40.2060
Often called the toughest species, Zxshilharna are incredible extremophiles. Able to endure both in blizzards of Këà, and near molten lakes of Ozul II, these arthropoids are often found in extreme environments, where professional assistance is needed. Zxshilharna can be encountered on many worlds in early stages of colonization, especially in toxic environments. Carrying their renown yet back from Sera, Zxshilharna can always be counted on.

|Ahes Merren, Current Grand Suzrain of the United Republic of Nations|
General Secretary of the
Committee for Progress
Ahes Merren emerged victorious from rally for the Grand Suzrain seat during campaign of 2820, following death of previous Grand Suzrain. His predecessor, Läin Eggiys Thyrshé, died during the attack of the Galactic Empire by the time he was meeting New Cyrannian Republic representatives on Mou'Cyran. New Grand Suzrain patronizes further consolidation of the Union, at the same time supporting autonomous governments of the member states, what gained him backing of nearly entire Common Council.
Age - 39 years
URN government consists of two main parts: Common Council, being an analogue of parliament, and a single Grand Suzrain backed by General Assembly of Ministers. Government heavily relies on autonomous actions of the member states, thus all structures are relatively small compared to their equivalents in other galactic civilizations. Noticeable amount of power resides in hands of structures governing all planets within the URN – every single one designates its legate, who directly represents interests of people in the Common Council. Government of the Union serves mainly by designing guidelines for all member states, in order to pursue common goals of the members.
URN is a Federal Parliamentary Republic. Elections are held every 7 years, when terms of offices of both Common Council and Grand Suzrain end. After votes have been counted, 1331 representatives in Legislative Council and 507 deputies in Executive Council are determined. Other members of the Common Council are chosen by autonomous structures of administration; 50 Supervisors are chosen from trusted operatives unaffiliated with any political party, 23 Arbiters in Executive Council are chosen from Union’s Judicial Association. Any chosen Grand Suzrain is demanded to leave the political party he was in before, to prevent lobbyism and enforcement of a party’s policies.
Structure of the Common CouncilEdit
The Common Council consists of 3 separate councils, each with specific tasks and duties. The simplified description of their work can be summarized to executive, legislative and supervisory branches. Altogether these have 1911 members, including the Grand Suzrain, General Assembly of Ministers, legates and governors.
Current state of the Common CouncilEdit
Currently, following elections in 2820, liberal conservative party Committee for Progress is in power, with 46% total seats in the parliament. Ahes Merren, current Grand Suzrain comes from the same party. Next elections are planned for 1827.

Population & CultureEdit
URN society is very diverse and unlike any other in the gigaquadrant. Different cultures interact with each other, often resulting in very bizarre traditions, beliefs and habits of its citizens. Despite being regarded as a rather conservative product of multiple societies being mixed together, society is very divided and diverse deep inside. Various worlds represent different dialects, separate groups of people sharing the same customs and unique characteristics.
Although internal political division within the structures of the Union prove meaningful when it comes to describing the URN society, the most populous worlds usually share many similarities. These are mostly inhabited by species controlling area of the planet, however citizens of different origins always have a great share in the world’s population. Such planets are often regarded as “Core worlds”. Most of the URN population is irreligious, however there are numerous spodists, monotheists and polytheists. In order to put aside the differences, all believers from different religions visit shared shrines and sanctuaries, called “Nilóyia”.
Development of cultureEdit
Serans are often hideous and secretive, what is legacy of the Great Seran War. After entering space of the First Gigaquadrant, they were unsure about what will meet them there. To counter their inferiority to possible threats in the Fism Clouds, Serans did they best to hide themselves in Kogra Triangulum. As an effect, culture of exiles was stagnant for over a thousand years. After acknowledging presence of no enemies in the region, they started to communicate with other spacefaring civilizations in Cyrannus in their neighbourhood, in order to secure Union’s borders. Culture was opened for a brief time, until wars with Humeni broke out.
Currently, URN is during integration progress with the rest of the galaxy, making contacts with other civilizations with analogous interests. After becoming member of the Mou'Cyran Accords in 2803, Serans gathered all available information about Cyrannus, finally letting them to forge alliances and treaties with wide range of nations settling the same galaxy. Cultures of all member states of the URN started to merge into unified composition, however Serans and non-Serans are still very distinguishable.
Among citizens of the Union, many different beliefs are present, however two main religious cults dominate the others. Total amount of believers shows great number of Serans, and smaller groups of nations native to Cyrannus.
The most popular religion is so called “Church of the Unseen”. It cannot be wholly compared to any other beliefs, as officially it calls itself cult, not church. It is based on acknowledgement of greatness and divinity of the civilization Unseen, which, according to legends and claims of many Seran nations, created all known life in their home galaxy. Church of the Unseen is heavily rooted amongst Uxha and Csolla, where it dominates most of the population, as well as, though in smaller numbers, among Zholam, Bäuaskú, Tulójudäl. It is very influencial in Seran culture, nearly not present in other nations in the Union. Church of the Unseen is based on 23 tomes of “the Only Truth”, consisting of legends and myths gathered throughout ages.
“The Unseen understood secrets of technology and the universe not known to anyone else up to this day. Yet they were very lonely; and so they decided […] (to) create life similar to them in form and soul; which thawed with their clarity and goodness shall brighten the galaxy. And so, in the first year all known life closed in bodies was created, in the second year; […] forged with light.”

Another significant belief is Spodism. It is exceedingly popular among Kh’rk, and present among many other nations originating from Fism Clouds, unknown to Serans before reaching Cyrannus. Spodism spreads quickly since the beginning of the XXVII century, when Kh’rk Theocracy joined the Union.

Military and DefenseEdit
URN military is divided into 2 structures: Planetary Forces and Interstellar Forces, often simply referred to as “URN Navy”. Army of the URN consists of each member state’s own forces, which called to fight will assume predefined position within structures of the Union’s army. These vary in size; largest armies are owned by the United Zuriattan Gatherings and Tal’Sheez Dominion. Planetary forces encompass all aerial, land and naval units on each planet’s surface; Navy has direct control over all military objects and units, including spacecraft, perimeter stations and fortresses. Currently, URN army is estimated to have approximately 102 million soldiers, although true number remains confidential. Sometimes intelligence structures are said to be a distinct branch of Union’s military, however no official information, nor government confirmed that; although these are assumed to be subordinated by a secret formation, field operations and history of URN conflicts after Wedan Declaration seem to prove that both Planetary and Interstellar Forces have their own intelligence formations.
