The military forces of the UPD are rather unconventional to say the least with all soldiers being mech pilots controlling mechs that are supported by various drones acting as infantry. The Anubis is a high powered artillery mech made for long ranged, indirect, heavy firepower. While not very well armored the Anubis houses some of the heaviest weaponry in the entire UPD line of mech. Its quadrupedal stance also allows the Anubis to carry the much heavier load that its weapons demand from it. The main gun of the Anubis is a railgun for artillery fire against enemies at range. The Hathor is less of an actual and mech and would be better classified as a form of heavy power armor. Eqquiped with a powerful VTOL system the Hathor can hover stationary in the air as well as move with incredible speeds through the sky. All without ever transforming into fighter mode. This allows the Hathor to serve as air fire support unite. The main weapon of the Hathor is a powerful lasrifle for blasting at enemies on the ground. The second armament is a rocket launcher for long ranged, explosive fire power. Thanks to its small size and maneuverability the Hathor is of great use in urban environments as well.
