The military forces of the UPD are rather unconventional to say the least with all soldiers being mech pilots controlling mechs that are supported by various drones acting as infantry. The mechs of the UPD are biomechnical monstrosities encased in armor, that acts just as much as a restraint on the mech as it does protection, and is controlled by the pilot via a neural sync system allowing the pilot to control the mech through their thoughts and negating the need for any physical control systems. Persan mechs are fast, agile, and flexible geared up with powerful stealth armor and the ability to transform into aerospace fighters negating the Persan's need to train pilots for dog fighting as well.

Pilots have a large catalog of weapons and ability programs to select from to built their mech to their specifications and preferred fighting style. As a result no persan mech is ever the same and pilots tend to group themselves into fireteams based on personal synergy with commanding officers staying in the back ground and coordinating multiple teams over missions. All persan mechs are controlled by persa meaning that all wield power over an element of liminal energy.

Subverters are fast and agile mechs employed for stealth and marksmenship by lone wolf pilots geared towards survival. While notably more fragile then other mechs Subveters come with paracausal electromagnetic powers that grant them two different abilities: The first is the ability to drain energy away from enemy shields removing a degree of protection; the other is the ability to move at the speed of light for a short burst allowing for what looks like teleportation. Both these abilities working in tandem make the subverters extermely deadly sniping platforms and are often armed with scout rifles, sniper rifles, or sidearms like pistols.

Once inside the Overseer can choose to infest them with nanites that erupt into plasma causing over heat in the case of enemies, or form a form of plasma reactive armor in the case of allies. Ruiners are the most advanced mechs that the Persan can deploy with the strongest and most heat effective reactors on the market that employ high yield explosive and energy weapons such as grenade launchers, rocket launchers, and charge rifles, the fire power of which they can augment with powerful spacetime warping paracausal technologies. These techs allow Ruiners to generate bubbles of distorted space time around their projectiles that can either be set to expand outward rapidly violently forcing enemies away from a point, or that collapses inward drawing enemies in like a microblack hole.

Pulse weapons are the most common form of weapon deployed by the United Persan Descendants and come in two types of standard pulses and pulse beams. The name pulse weapon comes from the design of rails that fire the projectiles from the weapon. The rails on pulse weapons charge with short pulses of electromagnetic energy for the precisely controlled firing of the weapons. Standard pulse weapons fire caseless kinetic ammunition while pulse beams fire streams of charged particles or anti-particles.
Pulse weaponry are a form of shaped plasma weapon that comes in either pulse of beam forms. It uses nanomachines to generate magnetic containment fields that shape the plasma into either pulse or beams. When fired the plasma is discharged out the barrel via electromagetic coils, within the barrel is a colony of self replicating nanomachines, a colony of which breaks of, contains the plasma, and then travels with it at relativistic speeds forming either a sphere to create pulses or a funnel to create beams. The nanomachines self destruct upon contact with the target converting themselves into more plasma to act as a damage multiplier.

Phase Missiles are missiles that rely on onboard sensors to detect when they are coming upon shielding, once shields are detected the missiles drops out of phase with normal reality until it has bypassed the shields at which point it returns to realspace. Phase Missiles come in standard realspace varieties and hyperspacial cruise missiles.
