Early History[]

During the New Cyrandia Wars, the Troodontid Empire was invaded by both the Neraida Gigamatrix and the Cyrannian Imperial State. The State was helped into the Troodontid Empire's backyard by a new neighbour, the United Bygorian Ascendancy, who plotted to use the State as a proxy to consolidate their own position in the sector. The Troodontid Empire eventually pushed the State out, as both the Galactic Empire of Cyrannus and the New Cyrannian Republic also mobilised against it. Realising that the Cyrannian Imperial State was doomed, the Ascendancy's leader, Kradik, terminated the alliance and destroyed the bulk of the State's fleet, effectively ending the State. He would not give the Troodontids time to recover, however, as he quickly consolidated the positions near the Troodontid border formerly held by the State, effectively cutting off the Empire from outside aid. The Neraida, meanwhile, would only intensify their attacks on the Troodontid Empire, until they too would be destroyed by a joint Mou'Cyran taskforce.

Meanwhile, in Mirus, the few colonies the Troodontids had there came under threat by the Imperium of War, a faction that the Empire trought to be permanently dealt with after their latest clash with the Imperium. In truth, they had severely underestimated the Imperium, who had since engulfed the Mirus Galaxy in a galactic war, exactly what the Troodontids had sought to prevent. The Imperium had, furthermore, collabortated in secret with their secret allies in the Ascendancy to isolate the Troodontids. In that, too, they had suceed. Now, they merely sought to deliver the death blow. The Troodontids still thought themselves safe, as their Dimsdar platforms allowed them to safely knock Hyperspacial missiles out of Hyperspace, detonating them at a safe distance. The Imperium of War had always been held in disdain by the Troodontids, who saw the Dragowar and their kin as nothing but bloodthirsthy brutes who possessed no true intelllect. For their part, the Imperium was eager to continue this facade, for it gave them an advantage: it appeared even to the Troodontid's brightest strategists that the Imperium was unable to innovate. Yet, after their previous loss, the Imperium had done exactly that. Seeing the Great Hyperpsace Revolution for the truly important development of warfare it was instead of writing it off, the Imperium had devised an answer to the Dimsdar platforms in the form of the Hyperfury Missile, which, while travelling trough Hyperspace, absorbed Hypermatter trough special valves on it's warhead, increasing the blast strength and radius to such an extent that the Dimsdar platforms could still be overwhelmed and destroyed. The Imperium launched two waves of Hyperfury missiles at the Troodontids in Mirus, one which completely took out their Dimsdar platforms and the second which took out their fleets. This left the way wide open for the War-Imperial armada to invade and took the Troodontids completely by surprise. Given that the War-Imperial flagships carried several Planet Busters, it seems likely that the Troodontid's Mirusian colonies would've been completely wiped off the map if not for the equally unexpected counterattack of the Draekar Remnant, the Imperium's oldest and truest nemesis, who had earlier been routed by the Imperium. This gave the Troodontids a chance to escape, and they would soon be joined by the Draekar, whose leader, Thel'Vimicelnes, led both fleets to the safety of the Mirusian French-Eldarisian holdouts by cunningly evading War-Imperial ambushes.

There, the Troodontids and Draekar proved instumental in turing the tide against the Imperium, eventually linking up with the native Mirusian front to the north and aiding in the reconquest of Waptorian space. They urged the Mirusians to accept France's offer to coördinate the attacks of the two fronts, even if it meant also accepting the Covenant of Mirus, which the natives hated but the Troodontids were indifferent to. Only this way, they reasoned, losses could be minimized for all. Both the Xonexi and Mirusians agreed to give Drakan Thel'Vimicelnes overall command, giving his long and antagonistic history with Caligustus and his reputation as a fair and neutral battlemaster. Quickly making his reputation true, Thel'Vimicelnes introduced both sides to the Rebel Consuls led by Gastus Graviatus. They were a group of Dragowar rebels that favored democracy and to whom, he proposed, would be given the mandate to form a new Dragowar government after the Imperium's fall.

With most of the War-Imperial armada destroyed and the Imperium beset on both sides, Thel'Vimicelnes wasted little time going straight for Warminz. A strike team, including the Android Super Warrior Samrrak, was send to kill the Imperium's leader Imperator Caligustus, and succeed in their mission, after which the Imperium of War quickly collapsed in on itself.

In the aftermath of the Gigaquadrantic Conflicts, the Troodontid Empire, like many others, found itself on the brink of collapse. It did not possess any form of Hyperspacial technology and was at a severe risk of being outcompeted by the United Bygorian Ascendancy in it's own home sector.

Nevertheless, with the Imperium's collapse, the Troodontdid Empire managed to greatly expand their holdings in the Bellus subsector. This region of space had once been the southernmost provice of the Imperium of War, before it had been handed over to the Drakodominatus Tyranny and thoroughly industrialised. After the fall of the Tyranny, the Imperium has swifty re-annexed Bellus, only for the region to fall under Troodontid control as a form of post-war repatriations. Mirus quickly became the economic heart of the Troodontid Empire. Due to their alliances with the Draekar and the Waptoria Alliance of Species and their positive standing with both the Mirusian Theocratic Congregation, the Unified Federation of Glory and the Mendel Pact, the future of the Troodoontids in Mirus seemed secured. Using the combination of the Troodontid's hyper-advanced technology in robotics, the extrensive industrialisation of the ex-Tyranny territories in Mirus which were able to pump out said robotics in massive numbers and the relative safety of Mirusian shipping lanes, the Mirusian branch of the Troodontid Empire came to dominate the production, shipping, and selling of Androids. As a result, the Mirusian colonies became the economic heart of the Troodontid Empire, with non-T.A.S.C.-affiliated companies such as Laivanrankan and Bygg Systems becoming important players there.

Eventually, Gastus Graviatus and his fellow Rebel Consuls were formally installed as the leaders of the Imperium's pacified remains. The battle had rendered the already harsh planet of Warminz completely uninhabitable, however, and thus the decision was made to move the capital of the new Consulate to the much more hospitable planet of Praxis. Hence, the Consulate of Praxis, as it became known, was born. The Troodontids, who had previously sought to sacrifice the Consuls to the Imperium to ensure a safe retreat of their own forces some years before, where still heavily distrusted by the Consuls, and relations between the two states remained tense.

Seperation[]

Under these circumstances, tensions within the Troodontid Empire itself rose rapidly. Especially in Mirus, the omnipotence of T.A.S.C. within the government and the military began to be questioned, and the breaking point came when the Galactic Empire of Cyrannus destroyed the planet of Mou'Cyran, headquarters of the Mou'Cyran Accords, and seemingly the Troodontid president Draicon with it. Seeing the perfect chance to rid itself of the influcence of T.A.S.C., Supreme General Thor executed a coup d'etat that saw the western part of the Troodontid's Cyrannian heartlands seperated from the Troodontid Empire, which renamed itself the Troodontid Repulic, while Thor's military junta named itself the Troodontid Imperium. Troodontid expats all over Cyrannus debated on what action to take and eventually declared neutrality, forming the cut-throat Troodontid Trading Assemblage.

Meanwhile, with the backing of the United Bygorian Ascendancy, the stalemate between the Troodontid Republic and the Troodontid Imperium began to shift into the Imperium's favor. Increasingly worried, T.A.S.C., still in control of the Troodontid Republic, shifted more and more research potential to the Troodontid's Mirusian colonies and the Andromedan colony of Haldiriv. The Republic would further fracture when President Draicon turned out to have escaped the Mou'Cyran Cataclysm, returned to the Troodontid Republic, and tried to get rid of the T.A.S.C. shadow government. Though T.A.S.C. refused, a popular revolt nevertheless forced them out of Cyrannus and to the Quadrantic colonies, where they formed the Troodontid Technocracy.

With the full control of T.A.S.C. finally revealed, the Troodontids in Mirus sought to protect themselves. They formally declared itself an independent state, the Troodontid Trading Assemblage, which the Covenant of Mirus recognised as the official government of the Troodontid people.

Battle Android (17)

  • Name: Battle Android
  • Introduced: 2760
  • Type: Class D_a/b/c/d
  • Arming:
    • various, usually small, handheld ranged weapons

Battle Android was the first battle android ever developed by the Troodontids. It is not very ingenious design, however it is very effective. This biped, two armed android is capable of performing virtually any task a real soldier also would be capable of, from shooting over throwing grenades to simple hand-to-hand combat. The Battle Android is also able to fly or drive vehicles ( though Troodontid ones have become own androids rather than have to be operated manually ) and to develop own strategies. Its life-like hands allow easy manipulation of and handling of most weapons from melee weapons ( though very rare ) over the common blaster to heaver, anti-tank weapons.
Though effective and deadly, this design suffers from its comparably weak damage resistance ( though it is higher than that of unarmored organics ) as well as mediocre speed. That makes a single Battle Android an only almost equal opponent to an average living soldier.
However for the Troodontids its versatility saved the day, it is one of the most commonly and frequently used android in battle, though closely following its successors. It is a front-line android to take out enemy infantry and overrunning enemies as well as keeping peace or offering protection at a place.

Aerial Battle Android (1)

  • Name: Aerial Battle Android
  • Introduced: 2768 / 02 NE
  • Type: Class B_a/b/c/d
  • Arming:
    • various, usually small, handheld ranged weapons

The Aerial Battle Android was another improvement on the Rocket Android, but with the design taken in a totally different direction. This android is totally created for aerial combat, both close range and over distance. The Aerial Battle Android has slender legs, powerful talons, fondable wings and even a functioning crested beak. Its arms furthermore remain free to grasp objects. All this makes the Aerial Battle Android extremely maneuvrable in any atmosphere.
However the Aerial Battle Android cannot function in the depths of space, and to remain as agile as it is, possesses as little armor as possible. This makes it rather frail for an android, though its exteme agility allows it to easily avoid incoming fire.
The Aerial Battle Android is a android deployed for every problem that needs support by airborne units, but usually during attacks.

Spacial Battle Android

  • Name: Spacial Battle Android
  • Introduced: 2768 / 02 NE
  • Type: Class B_a/b
  • Arming:
    • various, usually small, handheld ranged weapons

The Spacial Battle Android was invented as a replacement for the earlier Rocket android. With a void-sealed harness and attached thrusters, it is capable of maneuvering in the depts of space. Its hand design has been made similar to that of the first Battle Android giving it greater holding abilities. In addition the Spacial Battle Android has been upgraded with a personal shield generator, giving it the capability of surviving fights with star fighters.
The Spacial Battle Android is however less heavily armored than the Rocket Android. This is a slight disadvantage of this design, but overall performs very well.
It is mostly deployed to board enemy spaceships and cut open spaced wrecks. In this it is very effective.

Aqua Android (2)Aqua Android (3)

  • Name: Aqua Android/Marine Android
  • Introduced: 2764
  • Type: Class C_a/b/c/d
  • Arming:
    • 2 heavy double laser cannons
    • 2 melee blades
    • various, usually small, handheld ranged weapons

The Aqua Android is typical land based battle android, refit to fight underwater. The body is build for less resistance towards the water, the head design and oculars adapted to underwater missions and the feet changed into a paddle-like, flat shape. The weapons of this android are quite strong, having greater firepower than those of the comparable land unit, the Super Battle Android. The Marine Android is virtually the same, just with the legs replaced by a single fish-like tail for increased mobility in water, but also removing its ability to move on land.
However the Aqua Android is less good armored than the land types of androids to give it more mobility and speed in the water.
The Aqua Androids are only deployed on water planets, but there in great numbers. They only rarely operate outside the water, usually as a strike force on coastal areas.

Commando Android (2)

  • Name: Commando Android
  • Introduced: 2766
  • Type: Class A_a/c/d
  • Arming:
    • various, usually small, handheld ranged weapons

The Commando Android was first considered a weak, slightly changed Battle Android, causing only a limited production and denial from high positions. However the view of them quickly changed with first real usage of this android. Though very similar in design to the Battle Android, the Commando Android is a far more skilled fighter. It learns faster than all other androids apart from the Super Warriors, has a very advanced targeting system and is skilled in hand-to-hand combat. In addition the Commando Android is staffed with deflective shields to protect it from most damage. Though all this makes the Commando Android a good android for the front line, the strength of the Commando Android is its ability to infiltrate and assassinate as well as scout. They are able to trick most sensors by using shifting finger hulls, multiple holographic projectors as well as stealth fields and communication jammers. This together with its ability to use virtually any weapon within a short time makes the Commando Android one of the most versatile androids of the Troodontids.
The Commando Android is considered superior to organic soldiers and is only vulnerable to strong firepower and fast firing weapons, causing tehm to usually evade those.
The Commando Android is an android rarely seen on battle fields, but rather on oblivious enemy planets and important points of the enemy infrastructure. There they destroy or spy where ever they need.

Assassin Android

  • Name: Assassin Android
  • Introduced: 2770 / 04 NE
  • Type: Class A_c/d
  • Arming:
    • various, usually small, handheld ranged weapons

The Assassin Android was created to fill in the gap in military function which appeared between the Commando Android and the Super Warrior. As the Super Warriors continued to get stronger, soon a new android was needed to elimiate important enemy leaders while the Super Warriors focussed on taking out enemy super soldiers. Oftentimes the highly trained retinues of such leaders could take out Commando Androids send to silence them while Super Warriors where busy elsewhere, which caused an obvious problem. The Assassin Android was created to solve this problem. Their blasters and wrist baldes are build into their arms, while their hands remain free to manipulate other objects.
The Assassin Android is deceptively durable, and is as agile as the Commando Android. However it is rather difficult to produce, second only to th Super warrior.
Like the Commando Android, the Assassin Android is rarely seen on the battlefield, and is instead deployed on oblivious enemy planets. There they can stay in hiberation for a long time, watching and waiting until their targets draw close, before suddenly striking.

Spider Android (1)

  • Name: Spider Android
  • Introduced: 2764
  • Type: Class D_c/d
  • Arming:
    • 1 long ranged laser cannon
    • self-destruct mechanism

The Spider Android is a light artillery unit. The long ranged laser cannon allows it to deal some damage to all kind of distant enemies. They tend to concentrate their fire on weak spots like the driver's cabins and heads. The have great sniping abilities and are able to easily move over most terrain as well as climb, making them especially well suited for mountainous and urban assault. Another advantage are the highly advanced sensors and targeting abilities of this android, often used by good tactical AIs to direct heavier guns. In addition the round body holds a powerful self-destruct mechanism, the android either uses to blow up smaller buildings and tanks or to leave a nasty surprise for advancing enemy forces. The mechanism can also be used after the defeat of the unit, as long as the inner hull remain intact.
The Spider Android only is a big threat in greater numbers due to its comparably weak fire power for an artillery unit. It furthermore relatively slow and the lack of a strong hull makes it not very difficult to destroy.
Though largely inefficient, the Spider Androids are commonly used and normally serve as scouts and targeting helpers as well as infiltrators and assassins.

Heavy Spider Android (1)

  • Name: Heavy Spider Android
  • Introduced: 2768 / 02 NE
  • Type: Class D_c/d
  • Arming:
    • 2 laser cannons
    • 1 heavy plasma cannon
    • self-destruct mechanism

Heavy Spider Androids are a far more efficient and dangerous design that its precursor. It is armed with two laser cannons to defend the artillery against infantry, but its main weapon is the giant plasma cannon on the back. This cannon is capable of destroying most armor as well as annihilating shields. In addition it has the same self-destruct mechanism as the smaller, lighter variant. It is - though big and slow - a very mobile unit, as well as able to climb. It is furthermore protected by light shields as well as deflective shielding.
The disadvantage of this unit is its sluggishness, making it vulnerable to artillery with bigger reach. Infantry is also quite capable to destroy this unit if they are able to get close enough.
Its versatility and firepower makes the Heavy Spider Android the most common of the Troodontid artillery units. They are deployed during almost all attacks of the Troodontid android army.

Mortar Android

  • Name: Mortar Android
  • Introduced: 2768 / 02 NE
  • Type: Class C_d
  • Arming:
    • 1 grenade launcher
    • 1 warhead launcher

The Mortar Android was invented to change the Troodontid artillery from solely laser based androids to more widely usable ones. The Mortar Android is a big structure and heavily armed. The primary weapon is the warhead launcher in the center of the structure. Virtually the same as the one used by the later Super Tanks, this weapon is quite capable of breaking through stronger shields and heavy armor as well as being usable over great distances. However in return it is not suited to fight infantry due to the comparably slow projectile speed. Originally planned to be staffed with anti-infantry cannons, the secondary weapon is now a grenade launcher to destroy smaller vehicles that decide to get close to the Mortar Android as well as to destroy near buildings. Against other artillery the Mortar Android is shielded and armored to prevent instant destruction through longer-ranged artillery.
Though shielded, the Mortar Android is weak against any kind of infantry due to its solely anti-vehicle weapons. Though fats for artillery, the Mortar Android is vulnerable to longer ranged artillery, even though the shields and armor provide some protection.
The Mortar Android is a commonly used, very dangerous spider android like android for anti-tank and anti-vehicle combat.

Hailfire Android

  • Name: Hailfire Android
  • Introduced: 2768 / 02 NE
  • Type: Class D_d
  • Arming:
    • 1 light laser cannon
    • 56 missiles ( Photonic or Plasma Missile, rarely Vortex Missile )

The introduction of the Hailfire Android in the mid stages of the Great Deceiver very quickly made it a well-known and feared vehicle/artillery android. The automatically replacing missiles stacks and the easy in-battle reloading capabilities as well as the long range and sophisticated targeting system make the Hailfire Android a deadly adversary of both tanks and larger infantry groups. In addition the Hailfire Android has a laser cannon mounted to the front that is able to shoot infantry that gets too close.
The main vulnerability is its rather weak armor that only deflects lighter shots from infantry, but leaves it vulnerable to larger cannons. Usually they dodge the fire with their speed, but fast firing weapons especially from star fighters can be devastating for it.
The Hailfire Android is a commonly used attack android found in almost every invasion through the Troodontids. They normally deployed in small numbers, but attack in groups to maximize effectivity.

Ground-to-Air ArtilleryGround-to-Air Artillery (1)

  • Name: Heavy Artillery
  • Introduced: 2770 / 04 NE
  • Type: Class A_d
  • Arming:
    • 1 Super Plasma Cannon

The Heavy Artillery is a very new ground based artillery canon, that is known for its tremendous fire power. It is the effect of reducing the size of usually Spaceship based Super Plasma Cannons for weaker, ground based weapons. Though only half as strong as the spaceship variant, the Heavy Artillery is a devastating weapon. It is able to break through almost any armor and shield upon impact. Though the range is not as high as the spaceship version's range, the Heavy Artillery has a range far exceeding that of any other Troodontid artillery. It is very capable of destroying pretty much everything from spaceships that entered the atmosphere to heavy tanks.
However like all directly firing artillery androids it is not capable of firing at units out of sight. Furthermore - though the projectile travels fast - the Heavy Artillery fires very inaccurate against fast moving targets and so can only really be used against slow, big or standing targets. Additionally the Heavy Artillery is hard to direct due to the fixed position of the cannon in horizontal position to support the recoil. Instead the whole cannon has to be rotated. Additionally the Heavy Artillery is unable to target very near units. Another disadvantage of the model is the lack of anti-air protection and the truly gigantic size of the cannons that makes it impossible to bring down this behemoth with something else than a spaceship.
The Heavy Artillery is moderately often used, normally during sieges to bring down enemy shields and structures within short time. They also provide fire support against tanks and spaceships during defense and attack situations.

Massive Infantry Transporter (2)

  • Name: Massive Infantry Transporter
  • Introduced: 2768 / 02 NE
  • Type: Class C_c
  • Arming:
    • 1 light laser cannon
    • 1 heavy laser cannon
    • 2 double laser cannons

The Massive Infantry Transporter is a slow moving, heavily armored and shielded transporter. It can carry over 100 infantry android at a time to protect them from tanks and artillery till they reach the front as well as for easy storage. Though moderately strong in combat, the Massive Infantry Transporter is often used as mobile fortress and bulwark by the infantry. Additionally the front is equipped with several deadly weapons, allowing its usage as medium ranged tank.
Though heavily armored and shielded, the sloth of the Massive Infantry Transporter is a big downfall a sit is vulnerable to artillery because of that.
Though not very effective, the Massive Infantry Transporters are often employed to bring android infantry to the frontline and to easy storage them during preparations.

Submarine Infantry Transporter

  • Name: Submarine Infantry Transporter
  • Introduced: 2769 / 03 NE
  • Type: Class C_c
  • Arming:
    • 2 laser cannons

The Submarine Infantry Transporter is a redesigned Massive infantry Transporter suited for submarine transport. Unlike the land version, the Submarine Infantry Transporter has its deployment part on top rather than on the front and is less armed. In return the Submarine Infantry Transporter has a bigger storage capacity with over 150 infantry android being able to be stored inside. In addition the armor is thicker and the shields stronger.
The Submarine Infantry Transporter is very slow,, making it vulnerable to most long-ranged aquatic weapons. Additionally the weak weapons force it to be always protected by several other submarine vehicle androids.
The Submarine Infantry Transporter is often dropped directly from space to bring Aqua Androids quickly to the sea floor. Sometimes the Submarine Infantry Transporter transports some few submarine vehicle androids to the water rather than infantry.

Android Transport

  • Name: Android Transporter
  • Introduced: 2766
  • Type: Class D_c
  • Arming:
    • none

The Android Aerial Transporter is the biggest android so far (not considering "true" spaceships). It is a bigger relative of the Android Dropship, mainly used to transport tank androids and higher ranked android to landing zones. They have a heavier armor as well as stronger shields, but lack weapons. Because of that they are always guarded by several android star fighters and land after the area is secured.

  • Arming:
    • varies enormously

Perhaps the most controversial descision by the Trading Assemblage was to hire a handful of Overseers to oversee important shipments of goods. This was brought about by the immense wealth of the Trade-Magnates, who could afford to hire these mercenaries for considerable amounts of time, and by the fact that Troodontid-Drakodominatus relationships have remained positive for the duration of the Great Tyranny War. The Overseers are used as battlefield commanders, and it is not uncommon for one to have to have an entire army of Androids underneath him. At heart, they are still nothing more than dignified mercenaries, however, and the exuberant payment these troops require takes quite the bite out of the Trade-Magnates' profits. Still they keep paying them, for being Dominatus-spawn they are monstrously effective in combat and the sight of one if often more than enough for debtors to belch up their accredited pay.

Navy[]

Fighter-Bombers[]

Planetary Android Fighter

  • Name: Schast Starfighter
  • Introduced: 2769 / 03 NE
  • Type: Class B_a
  • Arming:
    • 2 double laser cannons
    • 1 communication jammer/tap system

The Schast Starfighter is a fast moving planetary Starfighter. They are heavily armed as well as armored and shielded. The design is a completely new and considered better than the typical Android Starfighter design. The firepower is superior even to the Four-winged Android Starfighter. Schast Starfighter has additionally a communication jammer to prevent ground targets from warning others. Though the four drives make the Schast Starfighter appear weird, they give it by far increased speed and allow speeds even superior to those of the earliest Android Starfighter designs.
Though deadly at close range and against ground targets, the large drives make the Schast Starfighter vulnerable in dogfights as well as against anti-Starfighter defenses. Though the agility could help the Schast Starfighter to evade enemies, it still is very vulnerable when the shields are down. Additionally the Schast Starfighter has a poor energy capacity, limiting it to only short flights and forcing it to be a territorial defense fighter arther than a true Starfighter.
Though ineffective in space battles, the Schast Starfighter is often used to protect the android factories as well as bigger colonies.

Planetary Android Bomber

  • Name: Trasrt Bomber
  • Introduced: 2769 / 02 NE
  • Type: Class C_a/d
  • Arming:
    • 2 laser cannons
    • 1 torpedo slot ( Plasma, Photon or Spatial Torpedoes, rarely Ion Torpedoes )
    • 2 missiles ( Plasma or Vortex Missiles )

The Trasrt Bomber is a planetary android bomber design. It is a quite small bomber, usually deployed in larger numbers. They are armed with two missiles as torpedoes, that can cause devastating damage to enemy artillery and tanks. Furthermore the Trasrt Bomber is staffed with two laser cannons to target infantry as well. The Trasrt Bomber is the fastest bomber desihgn so far, additionally protected by shields.
Though fast and shielded, the Trasrt Bomber is vulnerable to anti-aircraft defenses as well as enemy star fighters. The anti-star fighter weapons of the Trasrt Bomber were kept to a minimum, leaving it very vulnerable during dogfights. The Trasrt Bomber additionally is unable to fly very long, forcing it to be a close range, territorial bomber, rather than being able to join space fights.
Though ineffective and unfitting for space fights, the Trasrt Bomber is more than capable of destroying landed drop ships and structures as well as heavier vehicles and is often used on colonies to do so.

Starships[]

Rhea Class

Rhea
  • Name: Rhea Class
  • Length: 910 m
  • Introduced: 2769 / 03 NE
  • Type: Class 4_A_b
  • Arming:
    • Vipash Cannons
    • Chent Cannons
    • Double Chent Cannons
    • Quadro Chent Cannons
    • Heavy Chent Cannons
    • Point Laser Cannons
    • Heavy Laser cannons
    • Laser cannons
    • Double laser cannons
    • Quadro laser cannons
    • Missile launchers
    • Plasma Pulse Cannons
    • Proton Cannons
    • Metric Cannons
  • Teleporter: 14

The Rhea Class is a slow-moving, but powerful Star Destroyer. They have a extremely high resistance and are very hard to destroy even after the shields are down due their massive hull. Similar sized to the Athena Class the Rhea Class surpasses it in firepower and resistances, but due the slow movements of the Rhea Class they are less effective. Furthermore the Rhea Class is very difficult to build due the thick walls. Because of that the spaceships will never be numerous. The Rhea Class was solely designed to defend planets where there is no need to give the ship supreme speed.

Phoibe Class

Phoibe2
  • Name: Phoibe Class
  • Length: 550 m
  • Introduced: 2769 / 03 NE
  • Type: Class 5_B_b
  • Arming:
    • Vipash Cannons
    • Chent Cannons
    • Double Chent Cannons
    • Quadro Chent Cannons
    • Heavy Chent Cannons
    • Point Laser Cannons
    • Heavy Laser cannons
    • Laser cannons
    • Double laser cannons
    • Quadro laser cannons
    • Longranged Laser cannons
    • Missile launchers
    • Plasma Pulse Cannons
    • Proton Cannons
  • Teleporter: 9

The Phoibe Class is a slow moving, defensive Cruiser. It has a high resistance towards most weapons and is outweighing almost every ship of the same size because of the thick walls and armor. That weight is what makes the Phoibe Class that slow. Though being slow, the Phoibe Class is an effective defense ship capable of defending a planet against small fleets on its own. It has supreme firepower and is capable of destroying most equal sized spaceships with few volleys.

Theia Class

Theia2
  • Name: Theia Class
  • Length: 150 m
  • Introduced: 2769 / 03 NE
  • Type: Class 7_D_c
  • Arming:
    • Chent Cannons
    • Point Laser Cannons
    • Laser cannons
    • Missile launcher
    • Proton Cannons
  • Teleporter: 1

The Theia Class is a slow moving, quite unsuccessful model of spaceship. They are very slow, but lack the supreme firepower of the bigger models. Because of that the spaceship is relatively easy to destroy. That makes it less useful for both defense and offense. Instead the spaceship is only used to keep peace on other nations since there usually is not much destruction needed. The production of this spaceship was stopped, and it is already started to be drawn back again.

Koios Class

Koios
  • Name: Koios Class
  • Length: 10000 m
  • Introduced: 2768 / 02 NE
  • Type: Class 5_A
  • Arming:
    • Chent Cannons
    • Point Laser Cannons
    • Laser cannons
    • Proton Cannons
    • Energy Cannon
  • Teleporter: 84

The Koios Class is the most successful Laivanrankan spaceship. It is a 10 km troop transporter. It has only few defenses apart from anti-star fighter cannons and a Energy Cannon and is because of that not very useful in combat. Instead they use their thick armor to protect the androids till they reach the battle. Then they usually retire behind the lines of the attack ships and wait to take up the android army again. It has a huge amount of teleporters to quickly teleport the entire army up in case of retreat. In return teleporting them down also is much faster.

Lastas Class Cargo Ship

Lastas Class
  • Name: Lastas Class
  • Length: 2850 m
  • Introduced: 2770 / 04 NE
  • Type: Class 5_D
  • Arming:
    • Chent Cannons
    • Point Laser Cannons
    • Laser Cannons

The Lastas Class is massive transport and cargo ship used for trading with major partners as well as to ship massive cargo loads to the major colonies. These ships are quite well armored and has an enormous cargo load. Its speed is due to the strong and numerous engines quite good as well, however at the loss of big parts of the shielding and defensive weapon power. This causes the Lastas Class to be usually guarded by one or more war ship to ensure the safe transport of the goods.

The Builder Class was the first space station type to be developed. It is used as hangar, construction ship and trade outpost, but its main use is to provide space for scientific programs. Though initially unarmed, the Builder Class now is provided with weapons against star fighters and bombers. After all the Builder class still has to rely on the protection from spaceships since it can't defend itself against bigger spaceships. Usually a Builder Class is orbiting an object of interest. Its purpose as construction site has been greatly reduced since the construction of the shipyards and the Olympus Class since the newer spaceships now can be much bigger than the Builder.

The Olympus Class currently is the biggest space station type of the Troodontids. It is a gigantic structure solely build to provide space for the trade of the Troodontids, diplomatic meetings and most importantly as shipyard. Though there are other super-sized shipyards as well, those usually aren't space stations, but mega structures. The Olympus Class is heavily defended and capable of destroying most attacking spaceships on its own. However an attack would be a bad idea solely because of the fact that big parts of the Troodontid fleet tend to hover near the station.

Trivia[]

  • Much like the Troodontid Technocracy, the Troodontid Technocracy was the name of one of the factions that would emerge during the Troodontid Civil War, which would've taken place after said unresolved plot. Sporeraptor planned for the Trading Assembalge to take over some part of the Troodontid Empire during the Civil War. The Trading Assemblage's backstory as well as the presumed history of the Troodontid Empire is hence the same as Sporeraptor planned it with some minor alterations, taking into account the destruction of the CIS, Cyrannian Neraida and the planet of Mou'Cyran as well as the start of the Second Great Cyrannus War which happened in between Sporepator's leave of absence and the official establishment of the Trading Assemblage.
    • Sporeraptor also descided that the extragalactc colonies of the Troodontid Empire would become independent during the Civil War, but did not specify which faction(s) they would go to, nor did he specify where the Trading Assemblage would be located. The Trading Assemblage's lecation in Mirus came out of an obscure plan for Mirus to be the site of the Troodontid's first colonies -something that was ultimately not carried out-, the availablility of both ex-Tyranny factories and Enlightenment Collaborative trading partners there, and Eco's desire to keep the Troodontids and their sister races relevant somehow after the Great Mirusian Conflicts.
      • The Troodontid Trading Assemblage is obviously inspired by the Trade Federation from Star Wars.
        • Hence, given that this is a failsafe, the entire page is suspect of revision should Sporeraptor return. When that moment comes, Ecoraptor will also completely relinquish control of the Trading Assemblage back to Sporeraptor unless asked for.
