Overview[]

The military of the Torrentium a monumental powerhouse, fueled by an intergalactically well known industry of alloy refining and the mining of raw materials. The navy of the Torrentium, known as the Infinite Admiralty, is upheld by an extensive and well-organized system of shipyards and drydocks that litter the Torrentium’s space, and rarely cease construction efforts. Weapons utilized by the Torrentium are cheap and mass-produced, however, despite their almost brutish look they are extremely versatile and effective, and use advanced ballistics revolving around depleted uranium rounds, and are driven by electromagnetic gauss systems. The police force of the Torrentium makes use of more advanced stasis rifles that create stasis bubbles upon impact, allowing for the safe apprehension of criminals. The armor used by the Torrentium is extraordinarily resistant, and is capable of resisting blows that would shatter normal alloys. The Torrentium’s military has the unique quality of being composed almost entirely of Drupvarix, which make up the vast majority of the infantry force of the Torrentium, with officer ranks being more commonly held by other species. The usage of the mass cloning of the disposable and low maintenance Drupvarix allows for a well-armed standing army that numbers in the hundreds of quadrillions; by far among the most powerful and largest militaries within the Gigaquadrant.

Legionary Corps of Drakhadrin[]

Underneath My Lord’s eye,
I swear upon my grave, until my last breath
I will protect these Infinite worlds, and should I die
I will rest peacefully, knowing the Lord mourns my death

My life, my mind, my soul, my body
I will give it my all, to keep my Torrentium safe
To the ends of the universe, to the ends of the timestream
These words, my oath chains to me

To each and all of my brothers
To my sisters, to my mentors, to my home
I will uphold the Creed of the Infinite
And in the face of death, I will not fear, for my Creed runs within my blood

If I may perish at my post
I shall lie easy knowing thus,
That as I die, the Torrentium lives forever on,
And that my sacrifice, keeps the Infinite Council safe

For the Drupvarix Supremacy and its Crimson Legionary Corps,
I hereby swear my Infinite Creed,
For the protection and safety of those under the Drakhadrin Star
I fight and pledge my life, thus I have decreed.

- Creed of Infinities

Dririknag Corps[]

Orag Katheg[]

Characterized by the deep red of their armor, as well as their extremely imposing size and musculature, the Orag Katheg (Drabbal Jahrar: Crimson Vigil) form the royal guard of the Torrentium as well as the personal enforcement arm underneath the direct command of Infinite War himself. Whereas their counterparts, the Dririknag, are specialized in operating within mass warfare and surgical strikes, the Orag Katheg fulfills a leadership and force augmentation role for specialized teams, and often provide a stabilizing and moral-boosting presence to whatever teams they are assigned to. The Orag Katheg are primarily used to provide elite protection to the highest and most important Torrentium politicians and personnel, and are known to consistently surround the Infinite Council at all times. The Orag Katheg tend to be sent in place of regular infantry on missions of extreme importance, and the appearance of the Orag Katheg often implicates the involvement and interest of Infinite War himself. The uniqueness of the Orag Katheg is present in their gear; their armor is a striking crimson, with orange and black highlights that separate them from the standard camouflage stripped patterns of the regular army. Their armor is large and extremely armored against ballistic and thermal rounds, and is heavily reinforced by shields. Their gear is known to be less orthodox than the rest of the military; their standard issue primary is a speargun capable of launching explosive thermite rounds that shred and melt shields and armor. The Orag Katheg’s uniqueness is most prevalent in their genetic makeup; their ranks are composed entirely of Drupvarix given the most attention and care in their cloning process, and Orag Katheg Drupvarix are far, far stronger, healthier, and intelligent than their contemporaries, and are programmed with a genetic obedience to Infinite War. The Orag Katheg is permanently composed of 100,000 individuals, divided between 100 kathegs composing of 1,000 Orag Katheg vigilmen each.

Quotes[]

When Akrom, our mother, our womb, birthed us out into the stars oncemore, she did not know that attempts at a likeness of her, a terrible, terrible act and machine, was formed on the far side of the core. There, she knew not that there stood a rotting wave of monsters, needing the metal in their skins to survive. She and Us know them now as the Drupvarix, but they will be forever known as the rotting cancer they are, and the example of why passing from and out of Akrom, the Womb of Eternal Life, our Mother Infinitum, will be the only pure birth of metallic euphoria.
