The Tarveerar are a race of reptilian creatures, ogrinealy meant to live in the seas, intil their ansectors began to go closer and closer to the deserts. Now, they live totally in the deserts, and a force to be feared.
History[]
The Tarveerar first came into exsistence with their once small city Carhago. Carhago grew quickly from trade with the Trofandalorians and others, and became a huge metropolis. They began to expand, taking a city, Silcutt, from their cousins, the Noveerians. They also estaplished a new settlement, in the swamps of the Farnai Region, Called Nos Carhago, or New Carhago.
The Tarveerar orginealy very silent and stayed in the back ground. However, they have become more aggresive, and have alienated their once close allies, the Trofandalorians.
Culture[]
Tarveerar live a rich culture, with very few liveing in proverty. They are ruled by a High Lord, who rules with absolute authority. Tarveerar have a loose caste system, and while one can be born into a certain caste, they can move up through acts of valor, and their chidlren also benefite from this.
Tarveerar are also very interested in military power, and keep large garrisons in their cities.
The Karos[]
The Supreme High Lord, called Karos, leads the others with supreme power. He is seen as God in life, and in death. It is said at the end of his life, The Karos will walk with the other Gods in the Afterlife, unless they have sinned against their people and abused them, in which their souls shall brun for eternity.
Society[]
Tarveer are cuatious towards other strangers, but loyal and caring towards friends and allies. They fight their enemies with lethal percission and grace of balance. Tarveerar are totally dedicated to their Karos, and worship him as a God.
Other leaders are seen as allies of the Gods, and, like the Karos, may be added to their patheon.
They deeply love their females, and females actually have a little mroe pwoer then men in scoiety. Polygamy is allowed, but only if the first wife permits.
Religion[]
Tarveerar worship many gods, and even accept others into their religions. Their main God, Oaal, is said to be the Father of All High Lords.
The Tarveerar add Fallen Karos Lrods to their pantheon upon their honorable death.
