- Anthem of the Soldarian Empire

The Soldarian Empire is among the most militarily powerful empires in the galaxy of Tyris Major. The Soldarian Empire rules over large portions of eastern Tyris Major gained through many ancient wars waged over the millennia by members of the Pulporious Dynasty.

The Soldarian Empire is a founding member of the United Knights Alliance and Unified Alliance of Enlightenment and has proved itself to be an irreplaceable member of both alliances. It is one of the most powerful empires of Tyris Majo, boasting the strongest navy the galaxy has seen since the galaxy's First Era

History Edit

Pre-History Edit

History started when the empire was founded. Everything before that was a mistake.

- Emperor Pulporious I

To the modern Soldarian, the era before the founding of the empire appears to be a time strife, poverty, and chaos. However, the truth is that there actually was an well established Soldarian civilization. It was a republic that was ran by the socioeconomic elites. Those who were not elites were considered no more than servants, despite the fact that they made up the majority of the population. This civilization was known commonly as The Soldarian Republic, however modern Soldarians prefer to call it The Old Tyranny.

In the year 3550 BC, a Soldarian Commando known as Varrus Pulpor believed that the weak elites were unfit to rule over the Soldarian people. They hid behind their walls of marble and gold and watched the common people starve and fight among each other like animals. Varrus began to speak out against the elites, claiming that he would ensure that all Soldarians would be cared for if he alone ruled over them. With the inspired masses at his side, Varrus waged a massive war against the elites known as the Soldarian Civil War.

After five long years, Varrus managed to overthrow the elites and publicly execute them, thus ending the war. To the Soldarian people, Varrus was the perfect man to lead their people to greatness. Strong, intelligent, and an inspiring leader. Varrus proclaimed himself as the ruler of the Soldarian people, dissolving the corrupt Soldarian Republic.

In 3545 BC, the Soldarian Empire was founded with the newly crowned Emperor Varrus Pulporious, later known as Emperor Pulporious I, the first of the Pulporious Dynasty.

Age of the Dawn Edit

The Age of Dawn, a period of time spanning from 3545 BC to 3078 BC, was the first of many ages for the empire. Emperor Pulporious I spent the first third of the age maintaining the empire's borders. He would father twelve children during this time, all of which were ambitious to become their father's chosen heir. The emperor was hardly concerned with choosing his successor however, as he had other goals in mind. At this point in time, the Soldarian Empire was barely space faring and while Soldarians as a species did rule the planet, they were not unified on their homeworld of Militora. Emperor Pulporious I decided that if his people were to ever have a future in the galaxy, they needed to be unified under one banner.

Conquest of Militora Edit

In 3486 BC, Emperor Pulporious I started a series of campaigns across the planet. The Western and Northern campaigns were launched against the western and northern continents of Militora and were completed by 3350 BC.

In 3125 BC, Emperor Pulprious I launched a campaign on the eastern continent of Militora. He allowed his four sons Varrus Pulporious II, Tanios Pulporious, Justios Pulporious, and Crestus Pulporious to accompany him on the campaign as his generals. Unfortunately, Justios was killed by the enemies of the empire during a battle in the mountains. Crestus, despite being considered the weakest of the emperor's sons, proved himself to be a capable general by hunting down those who were responsible for his brother's death. Crestus gained favor with his family for this act and was hailed as a hero upon returning to the capital city once the campaign was over.

With the end of the Eastern Campaign in 3120 BC, Militora was finally unified under the banner of the Pulporious Dynasty. For the next two decades, the Soldarian Empire would exist in relative peace.

Dynastic Treachery Edit

Prince Crestus Pulporious, being the most ambitious and youngest of the emperor's children, began to plot against his older brothers. In 3102 BC, an assassination attempt was made on Crestus, revealing that there was a murder plot targeting the Pulporious Dynasty.

Emperor Pulporious I ordered his trusted agents to investigate the plot, however Varrus II and Tanios believed that this was an opportunity to gain favor with their father. They both thought that one of them was able to bring Crestus' attacker to justice, perhaps that brother would be designated as the heir to the empire. Crestus, aware of the rivalry his brothers had, used this to his advantage. Crestus convinced his brothers separately that he had information pertaining to the assassin, however it was later discovered that he told them two different things. Crestus told Tanios that he simply had a lead on who the assassin was, but he told Varrus II that Tanios was the assassin and was trying to usurp the eldest brother as the rightful heir.

The three brothers later met in the eastern tower of the royal palace. Varrus II immediately accused Tanios of treachery and attempted to arrest him himself. Tanios, confused and insulted by the allegations attempted to defend himself from Varrus II's physical assault. Crestus stood by as his brothers fought and made no attempt to stop them. In their scuffle, Tanios pulled a dagger to scare Varrus II off, however the older brother found himself mortally wounded by the blade in a split second.

As Varrus II lay lifeless on the floor, Tanios fell to his knees, the grief overtaking him. Crestus then revealed to his brother that he orchestrated the deaths of both Varrus II and Justios. Crestus had faked the assassination attempt against himself and had his personal guard ambush the long dead Justios during the Eastern Campaign. Tanios exploded with rage and attempted to attack Crestus, chasing him throughout the palace. As Crestus reached the throne room, he shouted to the royal guards that he was being attacked. The guards arrested Tanios, and brought him before Emperor Pulporius I

The emperor was skeptical that Tanios was the assassin that Crestus mentioned, but he recalled that Varrus II had previously told him about his suspicions that Tanios was a traitor. Tanios was always Varrus II's rival, and the second in line for the inheritance of the empire. With Varrus II dead by Tanios' hands, and having witnessed him attack Crestus, the emperor decided that Tanios should be imprisoned for his betrayal, disinheriting him for good.

Crestus, despite being the youngest of the emperor's four sons, had cunningly made himself the sole heir of the Soldarian Empire, all without his father ever knowing.

Ascension of Emperor Pulporious II Edit

In 3078 BC, after ruling for 467 years, Emperor Pulporious I passed away at the age of 500 years old. As the sole heir of the dynasty, Crestus Pulporious ascended as Emperor Pulporious II. This marked the end of the Age of Dawn and the beginning of the Age of Ascendance.

Age of Ascendance Edit

The age of ascendance was an age of technological advancement, space exploration, and imperial expansion that lasted from 3078 BC to 2850 BC. Emperor Pulporious II was a man of intellect rather than a man of war like his late brothers and father. For a long time, Soldarians knew that there were other worlds amongst the stars just waiting to be conquered by them. But Emperor Pulporious II knew that in order to get to those stars, the Soldarian people would need to become people of higher learning as well as people of martial knowledge.

The early years of the Age of Ascendance saw reforms in the science and education agencies of the empire. The first manned space flight of 3062 BC and later the very first extra-solar Soldarian Colonies were founded in 3022 BC. By the 2900's BC, the empire had rapidly expanded to 200 systems. These colonies were mostly outposts or mining facilities, however some would eventually grow into thriving cities in the years to come.

Piracy and Weakness Edit

While this age was a time of many advancements in Soldarian technology, it was also seen as an age of military blunders. The early interstellar Soldarian Empire suffered from raids launched by the Hyperon Grand Khanate, a collection of Nataak raiders united under a singular ruler. The naval fleet of the Soldarian Empire was no match for the Hyperon Grand Khanate's experienced pilots, causing the loss of resources that the empire needed to continue its expansion. Where Emperor Pulporious II had sights on 1000 possible systems for colonization, the imperial navy was only able to protect a meager 93 of the empire's 200 systems.

Even with the ongoing pirate raids, Emperor Pulporious II still attempted to expand the empire's borders. This eventually involved invading worlds that were home to indigenous aliens and subjugating them. The citizens of the empire began to openly protest Emperor Pulporious II's inability to prioritize threats and demanded that he focus on dealing with the Grand Khanate. With his back to the wall, the emperor halted colonization efforts and began to pool the empire's resources into building a stronger military.

Sons of the Emperor

In 2892 BC, Emperor Pulporious II fathered a son named Kadius Pulporious. The emperor saw great potential in his first born son and decided to spend a massive amount of time overseeing his education. Kadius spent most of his youth learning to lead armies and wage war from the martial geniuses of the era. Meanwhile, the emperor continued to strengthen the military. He would later father another son named Laccus Pulporious in 2885 BC.

In 2878 BC, Emperor Pulporious II gave the 14 year old Kadius control of his very own fleet in the new and improved Soldarian Navy. At the time, many commanding officers saw this as not only nepotism, but also a foolish move by the already unpopular emperor. However, Kadius eventually proved himself to be very capable leader for a teenager. He spent his first years as an admiral defending the borders of the empire, allowing his father to expand the borders. In 2875 AD, Laccus would also begin leading fleets of his own. The two brothers proved to be valuable assets to the empire, defeating Grand Khanate fleets in open combat multiple times.

The empire's citizens began to praise the two boys for their martial prowess, even to the point where they were considered heroes of the empire by the 2860's BC. Kadius had even defeated fleets belonging to the mysterious Nebulorian Pirates, allowing Soldarian scientists to reverse engineer some of the advanced technologies that they possessed. This only strengthened the growing navy, making the Soldarian Empire a force to be reckoned with. Laccus had achieved much less in comparison to his older brother. Even though he was considered a hero to the empire, Kadius was seen as the superior brother due to his "more impressive" feats.

Kadius would become popular with the politicians of the empire, as well as the common people. However, while his sons were protecting the empire from threats, Emperor Pulporious II did very little but take credit for their accomplishments. By this point, Kadius had stopped attributing his skills to his father. Kadius had been doing the heavy lifting of the empire for decades and his admirals and commanders all believed that Kadius should be emperor.

Patricide Edit

In 2862 BC, Emperor Pulporious II attempted to assassinate Kadius. The attempt was a total falure, with Kadius discovering that his father was behind it. In truth, the emperor felt threatened by his son's popularity and sudden disobedience. Laccus was much more subservient to the emperor and would have remained a loyal puppet. Kadius attempted to confront his father about the assassination attempt, only to be drawn into yet another attempt by the emperor himself. Kadius proved to be stronger than his father and threw him over a balcony of the castle, from the same room where Emperor Pulporious II had watched Tanios murder Varrus II.

Laccus was devastated by this, and actively attempted to denounce Kadius from being able to inherit the throne. Kadius surprisingly agreed with Laccus, as patricide was one of the worst acts a Soldarian could commit. However, the people of the empire refused to denounce Kadius and instead crowned him as Emperor Pulporious III.

Laccus, while angered by this turn of events, accepted the will of the people. While he did not try to usurp Kadius, he did become less responsive to any orders the new emperor issued. Laccus would eventually vanish from recorded history. It is unknown if this was the doing of Emperor Pulporious III, Laccus self exiling himself, or the work of politicians who saw Laccus as a threat to their emperor

Pultorian Armada Edit

In 2850 BC, Emperor Pulporious III had finished constructing the Pultorian Armada, a massive fleet that he built in preparation for dealing with a possibly war against the powerful Biskin Empire of northeastern Tyris Major. But this was not the only purpose of the fleet, as the emperor had plans to not only expand the empire's borders for more resources, but to let the galaxy know that the Soldarian Empire was here to stay. The fleet itself was extremely costly, nearly bankrupting the empire. However, this would soon be remedied in the age to come.

Age of Conquest Edit

The Age of Conquest was a period of time during the Soldarian Empire's history that took place between the years of 2848 BC and 2538 BC. During this 300 year period, Emperor Pulporious would aggressively expand the borders of the Soldarian Empire in order to show the other civilizations that the Soldarians were not to be messed with. The borders of the empire more than doubled from the 300 systems during his father's reign, to 736 by the end of the age.

During this time, Soldarian culture flourished and evolved into one focused round combat and valor. Emperor Pulporious III's military campaigns were not only beneficial culturally to the Soldarian people, but also economically and politically. The empire's coffers began to fill from their spoils of war, allowing for the empire's citizens to gain a bit more personal wealth. The reputation of the Soldarian Empire and its people began to grow as well. So much so that the Grand Republic of Tyris Major considered taking military action against the rapidly expanding empire.

Emperor Pulporious III's reputation also grew during this time. He was not known to lose any major battles during the Age of Conquest, and thus was somewhat feared and respected among other warlords of the era. At the end of the age, the Soldarian Empire settled into a relative peace for a time. Emperor Pulporious III would never see the Biskin Empire launch a full scale invasion on the Soldarian Empire, and was pleased that their reputation alone was enough to deter most threats. However this would not stop everyone from trying to take a swing at the Soldarians in the future.

Age of Prosperity Edit

The Age of Prosperity followed directly after the Age of Conquest, taking place between 2538 BC and 2150 BC. With the riches gained from conquering the new imperial colonies, the empire's wealth expanded beyond anything the previous ages had seen. Soldarian culture flourished and became one of martial and political respect versus the old cutthroat ways of the late Emperor Pulporious II's empire.

New Generation Edit

It was during this time that Emperor Pulporious III fathered 7 children, 3 sons and four daughters. Among those children was Tytos Pulporious (born in 2292 BC), the second son and third eldest of the emperor's children. Most of the children of the emperor spent the remainder of the age trying to outdo each other with their military might or intellectual prowess. All done with the goal of impressing their father enough to declare one of them as heir of the empire. However, Tytos cared little for succeeding the emperor and spent the Age of Prosperity actually trying to make the people of the empire prosper.

A Man of the People Edit

With the support of the council, Tytos was able to crack down on the ever growing criminal underground within the empire. After confiscating the funds from the various raids he oversaw, Tyros was able to spend the next twenty years funding public works projects such as building fountains, recreational buildings, schools, orphanages, and homeless shelters.

By the 2270's BC, Tytos was appointed by the council as the Councilor of Public Works. As the Councilor of Public Works, he continued his maintenance of the empire's infrastructure. By this point in time, Tytos was far more interested in improving the quality of living of the Soldarian people from his councilor position rather than ascending to the imperial throne. This did not go unnoticed by his father.

As the Age of Prosperity continued, Emperor Pulporious III's health began to decline. On his deathbed in 2454 BC, Emperor Pulporious III declared Tytos Polporious as his successor. Tyros would ascend to the throne that year as Emperor Pulporious IV.

Expansion under Emperor Pulporious IV Edit

Thanks to the late Pulporious III's dedication to all things martial, the Soldarian Empire's military was filled with capable warriors, leaders, and advanced military technologies. Emperor Pulporious IV would use these resources to his advantage when crushing his rebellious siblings who believed that they deserved the throne.

Once the revolts were dealt with, Emperor Pulporious IV continued his late father's military campaigns with his loyal siblings as his trusted admirals and generals. Through the various conquests, the empire's number of controlled systems increased from 736 systems to 952 systems.

The new influx of resources opened up new job opportunities for citizens of the empire, as well as increasing the value of Soldarian trade routes. The Empire's coffers were filled to bursting with wealth thanks to the excellent stewardship of the emperor and his conquests, so much so that the Age of Prosperity was no longer a fitting name for the economic boom the empire was experiencing.

Age of Opulence Edit

Our coffers are bursting with wealth and our empire is expanding rapidly! Is this not a fine age to live in? Let us build, then! Let us fly, then! Let us conquer! This is the way of the Soldarians!

- Emperor Pulporious the Fourth

The Age of Opulence was declared in 2150 AD by Emperor Pulporious IV himself. The age saw the empire go from a mostly militaristic empire with some wealth to back it up to the wealthiest empire in the galaxy. All the greatest parts about the age of prosperity were magnified tenfold. The emperor held plenty of public events and it was seen as the best age the empire had ever experienced.

Tension with the Grand Republic Edit

In 2003 BC, the Grand Republic of Tyris Major, the oldest and strongest superpower in the galaxy at the time, took notice of the Soldarian Empire. Initially a member of the Grand Republic known as the Holy S'actha Republic reached out to the Soldarians in an attempt to bring them into the fold. There is one iconic exchange between Bishop Likuil of the Holy S'actha Republic and Pultorian Armada Admiral Alesso Jirdonus that even modern day Soldarians quote:

Join a republic? I believe that I speak for all Soldarians, including our Emperor when I say 'Never'.

- Admiral Alesso Jirdonus, 2000 BC

This exchange was did not go over well with the Grand Republic and they even went as far as to declare the Soldarian Empire as a "tyrannical dictatorship", as they saw the Soldarians as brainwashed by the state. This meant that to the Grand Republic, the Soldarian Empire were threats to their citizens' way of life. Emperor Pulporious IV sent a response to this declaration:

My people are free to do as they wish. Those who hate me and our government are free to renounce their citizenship and come running to your 'loving' arms. If even one Soldarian joins your Republic, I'll give into whatever demands you ask of me. But if not one Soldarian leaves the empire, the Grand Republic must admit that you were wrong.

- Emperor Pulporious IV, 1999 BC

In a legendary act of loyalty to the empire, not a single Soldarian renounced their citizenship for Grand Republic citizenship over the course of five years. When the Emperor attempted to get a response from the Grand Republic, they said nothing. This only deepened the already near fanatical loyalty the Soldarian people had for the empire.

Issues with Succession Edit

As the Age of Opulence continued, so did the Emperor's indulgence in this time of plenty. He had many meals a day, showered the people with wealth, and took many mistresses. So many mistresses in fact, there were over 30 children born during the age that had proof that they were children of the emperor. This brought up many issues however, as the emperor never really could decide on who to choose as his heir once he died. He had already lived much longer than every Soldarian Emperor to date, so his councilors began to bother him more and more about choosing an heir.

Assassination of Emperor Pulporious IV Edit

In the year 606 AD, it was revealed that Emperor Pulporious IV was using dark magic to extend his life beyond that of a normal Soldarian. Prince Katorious Pulporious, one of the emperor's many sons, discovered his father's secret rituals and was horrified by them. The prince took up his sword and assassinated Emperor Pulporious IV, ending the emperor's long 2859 year reign.

Katorious would later proclaim himself as emperor, however unlike his grandfather Emperor Pulporious III, his siblings and the Soldarian people did not unanimously agree with his proclamation. They saw him as nothing more than a murderer. Most people were unaware of the dark rituals that Emperor Pulporious IV carried out, and even when Katorious attempted to explain his reason for killing the late emperor, his siblings were not convinced.

Katorious attempted to force his claim to the throne using his own legions, however they were no match for the combined efforts of his war veteran siblings who wished to avenge their father. Once captured, Katorious was executed.

An Empire Shattered Edit

Unfortunately, the death of Katorious did not solve the issue with inheritance. Emperor Pulporious IV never designated an heir for when he died. Historians have discovered he never actually intended on dying and planned on ruling his empire forever, never actually feeling the need to designate an heir. As mentioned before, the late emperor fathered over 30 children with multiple women. Their relationships with each other ranged from tolerance to rivalry. Each of them felt as though they were deserving of the throne and began to raise fleets, armies, and even plot against each other to solidify their claims. The Soldarian Council was also useless during this time, as many of the councilors were split on who to crown as emperor.

The squabbling of the siblings would break the empire apart. The once glorious and unified Soldarian Empire was shattered into multiple smaller empires led by old empire's claimants.

Age of Interregnum Edit

Taking place between 606 AD and 655 AD, the Age of Interregnum was an age of uncertainty and war. The bloody Soldarian Succession War took place during this age, and this was also first age where there was no true emperor. The Soldarian Empire, while shattered, still loosely existed. However to what capacity is debated, as the warring children of Emperor Pulporious IV were more focused on legitimizing their rule than they were on protecting the empire from it's enemies.

Soldarian Succession War Edit

In 610 AD, Gullus Pulporious, a son of the late emperor, came to blows with his half-sister Palla Pulporious, which sparked the fist conflict of the Soldarian Succession War. As the two siblings fought, opportunists like Braccus Pulporious and Quintus Pulporious took this chance to strike at Palla and Gullus' weakened flanks. This led many of the other siblings to begin launching campaigns against each other, causing a massive war to break out across most of Soldarian civilization.

The war would rage on for another 30 years before an altercation between retired Pultorian Armada Admiral Pitulo Jirdonis changed everything. Pitulo Jirdonis was the descendant of the famous Admiral Alesso Jirdonis, governor of the planet Alesso, and a decorated war hero that was respected by many Soldarians. He initially tried to convince the warring members of the Pulporious Dynasty to come to a peaceful resolution through a project he called the Campaign for Unity. Gullus, being the glory hound that he was, would accept nothing less than a military victory over his siblings. Before the Campaign for Unity could gain any real traction with the nobility, Gullus attacked Pitulo's fleet and killed the retired hero in battle.

Gullus' act of callousness enraged Pitulo's longtime friend Rexus, who was later revealed to be an illegitimate son of Emperor Pulporious IV. Rexus was a child when the succession war began, however he was now a man with sights on avenging his friend. Rexus would later kill Gullus in single combat, declaring himself as a contender for the imperial throne. Palla, out of great respect for Pitulo and hatred for Gullus, backed Rexus' claim to the throne

Reunification of the Empire Edit

The combined forces Rexus and Palla easily swept aside the exhausted forces of their siblings. By 655 AD, they had crushed all who apposed them. Palla, having less military power than Rexus, proclaimed her younger brother the new emperor of the newly reunified Soldarian Empire. This marked the end of the Age of Interregnum, the end of the Soldarian Succession War, and the beginning of the reign of Emperor Pulporious V.

Age of Greatness Edit

The Age of Greatness, lasting from 655 AD to 1373 AD, was a period of time that saw the resurgence of the Soldarian Empire's wealth, prosperity, influence, and military might. Emperor Pulporious V's first goal was to gain the loyalty of the people. As far as most of the empire's citizens knew, their new emperor was bastard of Emperor Pulporious IV who killed his siblings to gain the throne. Emperor Pulporious V knew, that it would be impossible to convince his people otherwise, as those claims were true in a sense. He was indeed a bastard of the former emperor, and did kill a few of his half-siblings during the Succession War. What he could do however was try to garner public support through regaining the empire's former glory.

Due to his previous life as a farmer, trader and laborer, the emperor knew that stimulating the economy could improve the standard of living for the empire's citizens. After securing some trade agreements with minor factions that dotted the galactic community and stimulating the agricultural workforce, Emperor Pulporious V was able to dig the empire out of the debt that plagued it during the Age of Interregnum. By 677 AD, the empire was able to begin restoring the military to it's former might.

For the next 500 years, the Empire would enjoy a time of peace. While this period was not nearly as prosperous as the Age of Opulence, citizens of the empire slowly came to see Emperor Pulporious V as the rightful ruler of the Empire.

War on the Horizon Edit

In 1145 AD, tensions between the Hyperon Grand Khanate and the Soldarian Empire were at an all time high. The two nations have quarreled in skirmishes over the course of almost three thousand years. The Hyperon Grand Khanate used to only raid the outer colonies of the Soldarian Empire, but even then the Soldarians viewed them as more of a pest than a real threat.

However, during the Age of Interregnum, the Grand Khanate took advantage of the chaos that the shattered Soldarian Empire was experiencing. Their raids became more violent and more reckless, pushing deep into empire territory. During the final years of the Soldarian Succession War, the Hyperon Grand Khanate retreated from the territory. These actions would not be soon forgotten though. Many citizens demanded that Emperor Pulporious V hold the raiders accountable for their actions. To appease his people, the emperor reached out to Great-Khan Kanok, the leader of the Hyperon Grand Khanate. Unfortunately, the Great-Khan was a glory seeking warmongerer. He felt insulted that the emperor would dare tell him what to do and cut off communications.

Soldarian-Hyperon War Edit

In 1148 AD, the Hyperon Grand Khanate declared war on the Soldarian Empire. Great-Khan Kanok wanted to vassalize the Soldarian Empire and execute Emperor Pulporious V for "insulting him". Emperor Pulporious V saw this as an opportunity to reclaim pre-Succession War territories that were lost to the Grand Khanate.

Hyperon Grand Khanate fleets launched a major offensive during the first months of the war. A few Soldarian fleets engaged the Hyperon armada, holding the outer territories using the Soldarian Empire's larger numbers. Seeing no way to truly penetrate the Soldarian Empire's defensive without risking too many casualties, a few of the lesser Khans of the Hyperon Grand Khanate began to launch small raids on the empire's outer territories. This weakened Soldarian fleet's ability to maintain their defensive line, as of the raided stations were repurposed as shipyards to allow for emergency repairs to damaged ships. The Soldarian fleet was forced to fall back to prevent the line from breaking.

The Grand Khanate pushed into Soldarian territory again, however where they expected to find defenseless worlds to conquer, they found the new and improved Soldarian Pultorian Legion. While the Nataak, the main species of the Grand Khanate, were generally physically stronger than Soldarians, their ground invasion forces could not overcome the extreme military discipline and training that the Pultorian Legionnaires had. While the Grant Khanate would find a few ground victories here and there, the Soldarian Empire would always manage to inflict staggering casualties to the Hyperon before retreating.

This defensive strategy executed by Emperor Pulporious V proved to be very effective, as the Grand Khanate's fleets began to truly falter around 1150 AD. Emperor Pulporious V decided that then was the time to switch tactics, and he unleashed the full might of Pultorian Armada and launched a historical offensive against the Grand Khanate. Hyperon fleets shattered upon the sword that was the Pultorian Armada, allowing the Soldarians to retake the few systems that they lost to their enemies. During these events, an ambitious Khan by the name of Khan Vaas would encounter Emperor Pulporious V during a ground battle. The two fought one on one, and after a tough battle between the two, the Soldarian Emperor managed to emerge victorious. Despite being enemies, Emperor Pulorious V spared Khan Vass, having heard of the young man's accomplishments and believing that one day the two could come to respect each other.

In the year 1152 AD, the Soldarian Empire had regained its old territories that it lost during the Age of Interregnum, as well as crippling the Grand Khanate's military to the point of surrender. It was the first time that the Grand Khanate had ever been defeated in war, thus easing the nerves of the surrounding empires that feared it. For this victory, the Emperor Pulporious V was praised by his people and would go down as a legend.
