Skordi, as a rule, are manipulative, brutish, and treacherous, and that's them on a good day.

- Barda Clett

We once lived in stagnation. But that all changed with the Great Creator. Now, we are all proud warriors, crushing any in our path. None can stand before us, for we are the best of the best at crushing our foes.

- Unknown Skordi

The Skordi Tribes are a race of savage, brutish creatures, engineered by Spidrax of the Darkling Brotherhood to be bio-engineered super soldiers. When this failed, he went into hiding. Skordi, meanwhile, expanded outward and began conquering new territory and battling those that stood in their ways. As such, Skordi became incredibly infamous among the inhabitants of Mirus galaxy for their savagery and brutish attitude, and near-inability to actually diplomatically speak with other races.

Skordi have some access to elemental energy, like Ugandalorians and Togunda, however, they can only use it when working with another Skordi, of any element. They are divided by race, color pigment being divided by element of control, and what Warband they are a part of. For example, there is no Elemental Water Warband, but simply Elementalists of Water in warbands.

Skordi themselves are rather straight forward, and appear very primitive at first glance. However, they have shown themselves to be quite intelligent and capable of making all sorts of gadgets and materials from scrap metal and stolen goods. Skordi range from highly advanced, cosmopolitan empires, to pirating warbands, raiding planets on the border of UAE and Zarbanian space.

History[]

Early existence[]

The Skordi began life as short-lived, but strong bodied race on the fringes of Mirusian space, on a planet orbiting a massive star, and could almost be considered a solar system outside the galactic group. This planet was a massive jungle, home to a race of being who struggled to survive. Where's the rest of the planet had adapted to the high radiation and plasma storms, even the plant life, the Skordi struggled with various medical conditions and cancers. This all changed when they caught the attention of the Brotherhood of Darklings. Seeing potential in the young race, the Darklings, planning their ascension as rulers of the galaxy, needed an army of warriors to carry out their bidding.

For this purpose, they sent Darkling Spidrax and a cabal of his followers to take control and establish themselves as rulers of the Skordi. Landing on planet, the tribal Skordi where immediately amazed by the appearance of such a powerful figure. Like a religious leader, he spoke to the many tribes, offering freedom and longer lives if they allowed him to be their leader. In awe of him, the Skordi agreed, and allowed him to modify their bodies for his purpose. Increasing their strength, Spidrax also altered their minds, increasing their aggression and causing them to adopt a more zealous, blood-thirsty nature, as well as improving their genetics and DNA, and removing the risk of inbreeding that was starting to plague their society.

While he managed to implement the genetic markers for loyalty to the Darklings into a number of the tribes, he still needed more time. However, the Darklings' leaders revealed to the Scientist that another project needed to be completed, and he was the only one that could do it. Worried, Spidrax left his acolytes and a number of Mutran Spiders on the planet of Skorkaz, and told them to finish what he had started, and keep the Skordi in line. This, however, was not to happen. Soon after he left, two Skordi got into an argument over tribal water rights, and started an explosive war. While originally this would not have been a major issue on Skorkaz, the increased aggression of the Skordi lead them into a massive civil war. Killing their overseers, the Skordi split off to various clans and states, each holding water rights, but each mistrusting of the other. When Spidrax returned a year later, he was ashamed of what became of his creation, and left them to their devices.

Overtime, however, the Skordi in charge of technology and weapons research, began studing and looting the technology left behind by their master, and began crafting more advanced ships, to carry them to new heights, and hopefully, new fights. The designs where shared among the tribes, in order to avoid another prolonged conflict, when they where obviously others out there waiting to be fought, and bested, by the Skordi in battle. After much trial and error, their fist starships where launched out. Once their success became all the more famous, the Skordi clans immediately began packing every piece of food, weapon and other things they could and reaching to colonize the galaxy beyond.

Initial contact with the galaxy at large was at first limited, but years after more and more Skordi would pop up, overwhelming many wayward colonies and other outpost worlds, soon making a mess of things for the other Mirusians. The Skordi would soon grow in number as colonies where set up, allowing more warriors and resource to fuel a Warband leader's fight. Despite all this, the Skordi where kept from causing too much trouble in the galaxy, the other natives soon out-smarting them, or even convincing some to join them.

Rise of The Beast[]

A year after reaching space, a mysterious Warlord simply called the "Black Beast", or the Beast, united the warbands and began a massive war effort to conquer the galaxy, briefly re-uniting the Karogon and recruiting from as other brutish races in Mirus as well, such as the Skordi. The other races of Mirus where almost overrun by the monstrous warlord as he stormed the galaxy. However, at the height of his rain of terror, the Beast was killed when his starship was destroyed, causing his bands to fracture into today's tribes and roving clans.

Ku'Orull Ambush

Skordi attacks effected most of Mirus, even the distant Ku'Orull Swarmhood.

The defeat of the Beast was a large blow to the Skordi, who suffered from the fact that many of the Beast's top generals, and his enforcer, where stationed with him on his ship, the "Burning Specter". While this allowed the galaxy to prevent another Karogon rebellion, it did little to slow the Skordi. Instead, the Beast's own subordinate chiefs and warbosses left with their own tribes and clans, either joining those who had defeated them, or etching out their own private empires. Some tried to recreate his success, but most failed.

Modern Times[]

Some Skordi, years later, joined up with forces like the Federation and Waptoria, changing some of their ideals to better compliment their new allies, while others remained more "traditional" and sought to conquer the galaxy by force, continuing the Beast's ideals, with mixed results among their various warbands. Attempts have been made by both Darkling Krianus and various other forces to somehow sterilize the Skordi, to slow their rampant reproduction, but all attempts to do so have failed, the Skordi seemingly conquering each new disease the alliance and other factions throw at them.

After the arrival of the Loron in their space, the Skordi tribes would surrender and accept their place in the Ironjawz Horde, two of it's leaders becoming high ranking advisors to the Warlord Griim'gagor.

Traits[]

Society[]

Skordi, on the surface, seem a very primitive and basic culture, incapable of advancing and building advanced technology. This is due to their preference for simple designs, and often trying to test their skills to the best by building things from scraps and other materials. However, their intelligent enough to get their often ramshackle vehicles and weapons together and keep them from malfunctioning. Like most other races that surround them, Skordi are a violent and warrior-focused race, placing great importance on the battlefield and achieving glory, though a bit more brutally then their rivals, the Mendel. While some are able to work with the Mendel, most Skordi are looked down upon by the Mendel, who feel them brutish monsters and uncivilized brutes, while the Skordi see the Mendel as uppity "gits", who are more interested in getting money then battle and bloodshed.

Outside of this, however... they are still very violent, though tend to get themselves in better order when not fighting. Due to their fractured nature, however, Skordi have trouble getting unified, as when higher ranking nobles get tired of one leader, they either try to challenge him or take their band of lads to form a new warband. As such, Skordi are common sell swords, members, and other uses in other societies, though rarely can settle for too long due to their violent nature. Most have the attitude that death on the battlefield is the highest honor they can achieve for their God, Kornakk.

In Skordi society, Females appear to be superior to males, due to be larger, stronger, and more aggressive in battle. However, Females are noted for being more impatient and incapable of leading most warbands and clans, due to lacking the patience for it.

Government[]

Skordi BBoss

A Skordi Big Boss, the highest authority within a Tribe, and masters of their armies.

Among Skordi, most follow a basic meritocratic way of doing things, where the strongest, most capable warlord takes control of the band and leads them to glory. Despite most females seeming to have more power and position in battle, males appeared to often hold the position of Warband leader more often, most likely because most Skordi females simply want to enjoy the rush of battle, though there a number of recorded cases of female Skordi leading. Most warbands follow a might makes right style of doing things, with the strongest members usually having more sway over things. Strangely, the stronger Skordi do not bully the weaker members, mostly because they simply expect their subordinates to know their place, and only kick their smaller members around to demonstrate a point if they step out of line, making it a very harsh form of discipline. Most view it as ineffective to go out of one's way to demonstrate their strength, as one has better things to do, like building new weapons, or preparing for another fight.

Religion[]

Skordi are often regarded as primitive and superstitious, but are a very spiritual race, despite their blood-thirsty surface attitude. Their only god, Kornakk, is very similar to Kadaii Hoorangiir in many ways. He is said to be a warrior of the highest pinnacle, and unbeatable in battle. Hateful, rage filled, Kornakk is one of three deities worshipped by the Skordi, and each is worshipped out of fear. The Skorid believe if they disobey their bosses or do not honor Kornakk, he will come for them, and bring their greatest fears to life.

The second deity is the Star Maw, a massive celestial object within their solar system. It resembles a planet at first, but is really a large creature of some sort, with a massive maw filled with teeth that threatens to eat any ships that try to leave the system. The Skordi are terrified of the Maw, and often make pilgrimages to it, throwing it captured enemies, sacrifices and other parts to appease the Maw and keep it from eating them.

The Third deity, is The Lava Mouth, a massive volcano on one of their first colonies, that was the sight of a great victory over a Loron warband. It's mouth is said to have teeth, and Loron captured are often thrown into it, as after their battle, the Lava Mouth ceased it's eruption on the colony, keeping the Skordi alive, so long as they appease it.

Each God has it's own Shamans, who channel the power of their god through different Autogenetic powers and spells. The great Shamans of each include the Beholders of Kornakk, who bring the fears of their enemies to life through illusions and empower their troops with inhuman strength, the Maw's Butchers, who use the power of the Great Maw to drain the strength of their foes, and even power themselves up by eating their victims, and the Firemaws, fiery priests who breath fire and lava upon their foes during battle, and cause flaming weapons and throwers to explode when near them.

Species[]

Skordi, while not xenophobic, are very insular about their species and race. While outsiders are common and can be found in their ranks, very few have a high standing, and mostly follow the orders of their Skordi warlords. However, other races are commonly found in command positions. Skordi hold the most power, being the most populous race within the Tribes. Next, are the Shadow Skordi, genetically modified Skordi made up the Darklings to lead and coordinate their forces. Next are the Thurs, large, powerful beasts, but very powerful, and the Lu'Braxai, powerful and huge giants that often seek alcohol and fights to distract their downtrodden.

Skordi LS
  • Name - Skordi
  • Role - Main race, leaders
  • Famous Members - See below

The Skordi are the main race of the Tribes, and make up the majority of it's warbands and military units. They are massive beasts, nearly 8 ft. tall, though there are many members who are much, much larger and more powerful. They are the founders of the Empire, and have many races within their fold thanks to their military prowess and physical power, as well as feral cunning and brutality towards others that cross them.

Skordi are durable, strong, and fast, and have great stamina, though lack the agility of some other races. They can heal wounds in a matter of seconds, and are extremely intelligent. Due to their modification, they seem to have the strange ability to grow bigger, stronger, and smarter as they win battles and gain power and position among their foot troops. They have an inbuilt ability to create weapons and gear for themselves, and maintain it, even without professional weapon smiths and engineers, though do have a specific caste of engineers who maintain their vehicles.

Skordi are manipulative, war-like, and barbaric by some standards, but some differ from this stereotype. All Skordi love a war, and fighting in general, similar to the Dragowar, but on a smaller scale. Like the Dragowar, they have trouble explaining why they like fighting so much, though fighting sensations lead to a rush of endorphins in their bodies, which also leads to a small uptake in muscle mass and size, as well as increased brain activity.

Skordi, due to being experimented on for so long, develop strange tics and habits they can't quite explain. Some have trouble keeping themselves from stealing, others will randomly have shouting matches with one another, or try to see how many punches their friends can take. However, has the Skordi grow, their newer generations are starting to "normalize" compared to their ancestors.

Shadow Skordi
  • Name - Shadow Skordi
  • Role - Shock Troopers, elite warriors
  • Famous Members - The Beast.

  • Name - Ponaturi
  • Role - Servants, pets

A strange set of creatures, the Ponaturi are a Gremlin-like race of beings that the Skordi took from an unknown world, and made their servants. Originally, the Ponaturi would join other powers, but spread so rapidly and cause so trouble and mischief, that no one wanted to deal with them, and many desired to wipe them out. Despite most other races finding them irritating and troublesome, the Skordi took a shine to them, and have kept them around to do labor jobs, oversee slaves, and generally assist the Skordi with their large numbers. Even the Ponaturi's destructive nature effects the Skordi very little.

Ponaturi are small, reptilian beasts, with large eyes, and constantly trying to cause mayhem and mischief in other societies. Among other societies, unless stopped, the Ponaturi will cause collapse and destruction, but to the Skordi they are merely mischievous, funny little pets to keep around. They further act as horde troops, saboteurs and shamans.

Thur
  • Name - Thur
  • Role - Shock Troops

Thurs are a brutal species, as witlessly stupid as they are amazingly powerful. Common threats in Mirus, they are regarded as oversized pests in need of swatting more then anything, until they start to join the armies of other rampaging races, joining Skordi and Loron for the promise of pillage and loot, and most importantly, food and flesh to slick their hunger. Thurs are hardly intelligent, however, even the most witless, dim-witted Loron seen as more intelligent then the average Thur. Despite this, their strength makes them prized by the Skordi for their ability to shatter enemy lines.

Thur are incredibly adaptive, almost like the Skordi themselves or Koatria, their abilities and biology changing within a few generations as a result of the environments they find themselves in. River, Stone, Forest, and Ice Thurs are just a few of the many types encountered in Mirus, and each is as hungry and foul as the last.

Thurs are, unbeknownst to themselves and others, deeply connected to the Darklings, their biology connected and deeply effected by Dark Essence and Energies, and developing mutations far quicker then other races because of it.

Lu'Braxai

The Lu'Braxai are a gigantic race of muscle and sinew, all brutal warriors in their own right. Lu'Braxai often wonder the galaxy, looking for foes to fight, strong liquor to drink and much food to devour. For these traits, while many Lu'Braxai find themselves in the servitude of powers such as Zarbania or the Mendel, most end up with races like the Skordi, who strongly identify with their brutal nature and bone-crushing strength and power.

Lu'Braxai, for their part, are rather uncaring of the petty concerns of the Skordi, and seek only to devour and eat to their hearts content, while crushing anything to make a point of their strength. Lu'Braxai are notorious drunkards, and it is not uncommon for them to first target the breweries of a planet, before moving onto whatever catches their eye for food. Whatever remained of their great empire is gone now, and most Lu'Braxai know, deep down, their days are numbered, their people scattered, their ways lost to time. Some will turn to the powers of the Darklings, while others make common cause with the Skordi.

While the Lu'Braxai speak little other then bellowing curses and making strong oaths to devour their foes, the Lu'Braxai are astute and intelligent beings, hiding it both to avoid being seen as too great a threat by their foes, and because there is little need for intelligence or culture among their kind now. Whatever occurred in the past that shattered their empire is unknown, but those that remain are dangerous to all who encounter them.

Factions[]

The Nektar Tribe are the single largest Skordi Warband. They are aligned to the Brotherhood of Darklings, making them also the most advanced. The Nektar are predominantly water Elemental, and it is a mistake to think water totally dominate the tribe. The Nektar are among Dark One's most favored servants, deployed in battle alongside legions of Rakar beasts, and given Dark Energy-based equipment. Skordi commonly field many Commandos, due to their preference of "Shadow-based" combat, and also demonstrate a higher amount of control of essence powers.

The Nektar Tribe are descended from the Skordi who have loyalty to the Darkling encoded into their DNA, explaining their utmost loyalty, to the point where they have abandoned the worship of Kornakk to worship Dark one and his Darkling servants. Many of their tribe splinter off to serve in other Darkling Warbands, mostly in Tibrix's warbands, but mostly stick to serving Terikalinra, seeing themselves as his greatest servants in battle.

They are lead by King Neserkten, the most famous ruler of the Skordi, and a loyal follower of Dark One. His Warband Enforcer, Kornok the Eternal, is a savage warrior, and like many enforcers, leads ground assaults in Neserkten's name.

  • Tribe leader - Talvak
  • Enforcer - Malgor the Punisher
  • Affiliation - Shadow Hunters

The Grongal Warband is another famous group. Close allies of the Shadow Hunters, the Grongal are the only ones that the Shadow Hunters will trust to send outside forces, and that are allowed to know of their existence without going to war, or being absorbed. They often lend support to the Shadow Hunters, in war and diplomacy. Since both brotherhood and Hunters are ruled by the same master, The Nektar and Grongal often work together, though the arrogance of their rulers keep them from uniting. They are mostly affiliated with the element of Earth and Stone. Grongal prefer large, powerful, and very loud guns so they can cut down enemies in seconds. The Highest ranking ones receive rockets.

The Grongal Warband are, similar to the Nektar, descended from Skordi who had the loyalty to the Darklings encoded on their DNA. However, these Skordi would interbreed with their neighbors who did not, becoming slightly less loyal to the Darklings then the Nektar, though when they came to discover the Shadow Hunters, their leaders felt drawn to Terikalinra's leadership.

They are lead King Talvak, sneaky but powerful business man, and his enforcer, Malgor the Punisher, a hulking, scar-riddled brute, even by Skordi standards.

  • Tribe leader - Nugdar
  • Enforcer - Kiril the Tormentor
  • Affiliation - Zarbania Powers

The Kingdom of Talnar are currently the most aggressive tribe, and generally only work with the Zarbanian Powers, and are members of it. They generally share the same believes as many members of the Powers, and often are more prone to pirating then most others. While this is frowned upon by the Powers, it keeps the Kingdom advanced. They are mostly affiliated with the elements of Plasma or Lightning. The Kingdom of Talnar prefers large assault forces and battle walkers, always having the attitude of getting in their foes face with the most powerful attacks.

The Kingdom has long held themselves as pirates and marauders, who travel about fighting their foes with a blood-lust and glee. They tend to be xenophobic in attitude and not trust aliens within their warband. However, the Zarbanians have tolerated their attitude, respecting their combat prowess, and the Talnar respect the Zarbanians for managing to hold them off in their first engagement.

They are lead by Nugdar, are silent, calculating warrior, and his right hand-man, Kiril the Tormentor, a simple minded enforcer.

  • Tribe leader - Dolgar
  • Enforcer - Rougar the Decimator
  • Affiliation - Grox Followers

The Warriors of Balgish, are Skordi who work under the Grox Followers. Having been indoctrinated a long time ago, the Warriors are almost completely loyal to Supremius, and view him as a living God. They do not like the Grox, and so only answer to Supremius. They are divided equally on element type. All members prefer advanced equipment and armor, and will commonly steal enemy armor that catches their fancy.

They are lead by Dolgar, who is a hypnotized servant of Supremius, and Rougar the Decimator, a fair, respectful warrior.

These Skordi are dishonored by other tribes' standards.

The Hultir Tribe are the most diplomatic of the tribes, and as such, are close friends of the Ugandalorians, and the Federation, where most Skordi see the Ugandalorians as inferior. As such, they capable of working with other races without getting violent or shouting, and organized the first annual meetings of the different Clans, Tribes, and Warbands. They are predominantly Ice Elemental, though Water Elementalists are common, too. The Hultir tribe are considered, rather "vanilla", not having once preference over another.

They are lead by the honorable King Nulgunn, and his right hand, the savage warrior and sadist, Thalor the Butcher.

The Jargata Tribe was, before they joined the Euchada, the most secretive of the tribes. They disliked the other tribe's wars, believing it disrupted the harmony. After launching some failed subjugation attempts on the other tribes in a bid to restore the harmony, the Jargata Tribe fled to the Waptoria Sector. There, they met with the Euchada Confederacy, and decided to join. When the Confederacy merged with the Liev Federation and the Raptoranean Empire into the Waptoria Alliance of Species, the tribe saw it as their plight to join. They mainly control Plant-life, though Air control is not uncommon.

They are known for their antagonism towards most warbands, with only ones they have still connections with being the Hultir and Pirdaka Tribes. As such, the other Skorki consider them Jargata a rogue tribe.

They are led by chieftainess Karillia, and her law enforcer, Zaktok the Beast, a single-minded warrior famous for his bestial roars in battle, and with the abilty to seperate his body into a swarm of particles.

Warband 5939 are the servants of the Alpha Cyber Collective. Having been assimilated without much difficulty, 5939 exsists to act as brute force for the Cyber Collective Battle Legions. They are emotionless, and totally dedicated towards their masters' goals. They have lost all elemental abilities. All members of the Warband prefer the same plodding, slow, deliberate attack patterns of other Cyber Collective forces.

They are lead by Commandant Damek 429, an arrogant and reckless ruler, and his right-hand, Talnik the Purifier, a savage crony of Ghorie.

This tribe is considered dishonored by the others.

  • Tribe leader - Tamerloqus
  • Enforcer - Fojhus the Conqueror
  • Affiliation - Imperium of War

The Imperial Skordi War-legion was a Skordi Warband taken in by the Imperium of War. They were the most aggressive of the tribes, even more aggressive than the Kingdom of Talnar. They were predominately Fire Elemental. They served the Imperium well, but after being send to conquer a Cyber Collective planet, they were completely destroyed by the Meeno Grox, with the survivors being assimilated into Warband 5939. The remaining survivors fled to join the Kingdom of Talnar. They had similar strategies in battle to the Kingdom of Talnar. Those that survive in the Kingdom still hate the Imperium of War for leading them to death.

They were lead by Tamerloqus, a warmongering and reckless tyrant, and his right hand man, Fojhus the Conqueror, an agressive warrior who would stop at nothing to show his use to the Imperium. Both are considered dead.

  • Tribe leader - Zarkostan
  • Enforcer - Vezorien the Savage
  • Affiliation - Themselves

The Pirdaka Tribe are the only Skordi still loyal to themselves, and as such, are considered a wild card by the rest of the species. They control the homeworld of Skorkaz, and, as such, the other tribes must work with them when they all meet to discuss politics of the race. Unlike most, they are actually lead by 7 Warlords, though one takes the lead on leading the tribe. They are Zarkostan, his enforcer Vezorien, Vezorien's brother Vezokien, Harkarinas, Thokoris, Avorik, and Ridak. All of them are Ex-shadow Hunters. Pirdaka are known for their highly advanced weapons, from power swords to guns, and are capable of reproducing such weapons and tech of more advanced races with ease.

The Pirdaka equally divided by element, and can be scene working with others for money and more influence, unless it for the Brotherhood or the Shadow Hunters, as Dark still wants their heads.

  • Tribe Leader - Thal
  • Enforcer - Zintari the Indomitable
  • Affiliation - Themselves

  • Tribe Leader - Grimkuz
  • Enforcer - Dorgil the Wrathful
  • Affiliation - Themselves

Rippers of Olkna are a pirating faction of Skordi, notable for their raids on Federation/Waptoria/Zarbanian/Imperium of War planets. While they appear more savage and primitive then the others, they are actually quite intelligent, and they are lead by their cunning ruler, Grimkuz.

Individuals[]

I ain't finished with you yet, ye grunts!

  • Name - N/A "The Black Beast"
  • Gender - Male
  • Status - Dead.

The mysterious Skordi warlord simply called "The Black Beast", was a monstrous male Skordi, bigger then even the females of his race, standing at nearly 20 ft. tall, and his scales where almost pure black. He was noted for his red and green eyes, which glowed slightly when he was angered. Uniting the Skordi by force, persuasion, or a mixture of both, The Beast kept his warband in line, as he either attracted more Skordi to his side, or forced others into joining him. What eh Skordi did not realize, after he was done, was that he had united the Skordi for the first time in years. Turning his attention to the galaxy, The Beast reunited the Karogon once more, and captured several Voracha, to compliment his already massive horde with their large numbers, making his force gargantuan in size. Attacking the Mendel, Waptoria, Greater Mirusian Church of Spode, and Zarbanians, the galaxy was almost overwhelmed by his massive attacks, before the fatal blow was struck by the sides when they united. Destroying his massive capital ship, "Burning Specter", they decapitated much of the Skordi's leadership, causing many Karogon to leave, and the Skordi to fracture once more.

The Beast is an almost mythic leader among the Skordi and the races that live within their clans and warbands. For many, he was sent by their chief god, Kornakk, to unite them and storm the galaxy, and bring it under Skordi command. Karogon tend to be neutral towards him, and most Voracha like him simply for the fact that he let them spill blood.

Of course, the biggest fear for all of Mirus is if another Black Beast arises from the Skordi Tribes.

Troop Types[]

Infantry[]

Skordi military ranges from ramshackle designs that appear very primitive, to highly advanced powered armored units deploying great strategy and manipulating their targets. Skordi, however, are usually drawn together from hundreds of clans and tribes, with each leader swearing allegiance to the Warchief who unites them. If they don't like it, but can't beat the Chief in battle, they are allowed to leave with a number of their boys and set up shop elsewhere.

To their preference for skill and strength, Skordi also realize the limitations of this, and instead seek to couple this with a more intelligent approach, commonly stealing enemy designs so they can work against them and develop counters, or go as far as trading with their future foes for many years, before attacking another world that belongs to them entirely.

Skordi love a challenge, and are noted to be short-tempered and aggressive. Based off their behavior, it is believed they suffer from a version of the Blood Thirst that Ugandalorians have. When they win a battle, the worst of them are known to actually keep attacking a corpse once they have won, or even turn on one another, until someone knocks some sense into them.

Skordi, despite their berserking culture and ideals, are known to deploy strategy and guile when attacking a foe, waiting for hours on end and watching their foes intently. After watching their foes, and find a weak point, they will send their warriors into the weakest points, smashing through their weak points, collapsing enemies lines, and slashing through enemies. Meanwhile, their special forces units will deploy via stealth fields and jet packs to ambush their leaders and attack enemies from behind.

After victory, Skordi will loot the enemy planet of weapons and materials, and, if they have a large enough fleet, they will remain on planet and build it as a base to work against foes further. If they believe the foe could overwhelm, they will steal everything not tied down, and take the entire population, while leaving one soldier behind, without his helmet and it's tactical feed, so he can tell the foe of the mighty Skordi.
