This story arc deals with the Loreatron Inog invasion and demise in the Milky Way, particulary their battles with the DCP and the Singularity. Collaboration is possible if discussed with Wormulon and Valader.

Introduction[]

Shortly after the battle of the Shadow Harvester, the Inog realized they had defeated in one battle three of some of the strongest military forces in the known gigaquadrant. However, in order to truly conquer their enemies, they needed resources. The DCP possessed some incredibly advanced technology, such as quantum replicators that could replicate huge amounts of the mutagen, and ghost phase that could help them sneak up on planets to be assimilated. And as they looked above the plane of the Tigris galaxy, they saw another, the shining jewel of the Milky Way, and they planned their next target, for it was less of a jewel and more of a mine...

DCP prime[]

Failure[]

Although the DCP had many colonies in other galaxies over half were situated in the Milky Way. The Inog had bbeen fighting outposts in the Tigris galaxy, and despite their assualt on the interuniversal gate, the Inog were not prepared for their defenses in the Milky Way. The Inog launched thousands of mutagen pods into one of the Rim sectors. They had not encountered the gravimetric maelstrom that caused them to lose their targets and get lost in deep space.

Wiser moves[]

The Inog were no fools. They could not pull off a huge campaign against the DCP and the Nigtrion, so the Inog needed to be wiser. The Inog decided to exploit one of the DCP's protocols. Using a DCP ship that had been relatively undamaged in the Tigris galaxy, they faked a distress signal not far from the borders. A ship somewhat equivilient to breakdown recovery soon came to the position, relatively unarmed it was easy prey for the mutagen. The Inog had assimilated their first four. They were placed in command of Dreadnought, bristling with weapons and the mutagen. The slaved workers had no clue what they were doing, and were sent to a sector of DCP space still under construction, in the obscure galactic halo...

The Dreadnought addressed DCP borders as it standard, all looked normal, but unknown to the slaves the Inog had them under full control. The Dreadnought became a pirate ship, stealing away cargo and trqansport vehicle, for the Inog to ransack of technology. The DCP's police force soon gunned down the ship, but not before it fired mutagen pods into the new colonies. Far from the DCP, within five days the assimilation began to take affect, absorbing the colonists to the Inog mind. Now the Inog fleet returned to defend it.

Fearing another rebellion, the DCP came to crush the new colonies. This is where they discovered the Inog fleet, and battles raged on. The DCP had superior technology and forced the Inog to retreat however, the Inog had now assimilated some vital technology, including the ability for the Mutagen pods to navigate the gravimetric maelstrom...

Fahler[]

The Inog were clever not to attack immediatly, their forces would not fair well in the middle of the DCP. But using slaves, they managed access the DCP's non-encrypted files. It was then, the Inog learned of one of the lushest planets in the DCP's territories. Planet Fahler, a breeding ground for their mutated armies, it was also a massive biocomputer that they wanted to control, and with it being absent of the DCP, it would be perfect. But they ignored the reason why it was quarantined.

The pods fell through the skies of Fahler and achieved in assimilating the biomatrix. But the biomatrix was just a small part of the cursed world, the entire planet was intelligent, far beyond the scope the Inog could comprehend, and it was enraged...

Almost ironically, the slaves in this war would be the Inog. As the Inog fleet hovered over the planet, Fahler overwhelmed their hive mind. They learned of the AI Netspace, the DCP was no longer their target...

Demise[]

The entire Inog fleet travelled to a stellar brain, a star encased in clouds of computronium and blocks of programmable matter. It ignored the incoming fleet, however, some of the Inog attempted to join their hivemind to the AI. They began to strip the computronium shell which the AI did not take kindly, in a blur, it reached out tendrils of nanotech programmed by the brains thoughts itself. The nanotechnology began to assimilate the Inog's ships, which began to dissolve...

Arc Epilogue[]

With the Inog fleet that supported the Loreatron and their goals destroyed, the battle was driven once again towards the Tigris Galaxy, the Milky Way had prevented Intergalactic Invasions from the Inog towards the galaxy itself and others.
The Inog fighting in the Milky way, with their main fleet absorbed into the stellar brain and afterwards into the Netspace, were fighting now to survive, the DCP forces were harassing their surviving forces until they were extinguished in a matter of weeks.
Back in the Tigris Galaxy, the battle continued between the remaining allied forces and the Loreatron Shadow Harvester fleet...
