The Rohse Galaxy, also called the Rose of Galamond or more simply the Rose, is a large spiral galaxy in the Galamond galaxy cluster, near the eastern edge of the Artrus Territories. Inhabitants of Rohse regardless of their species are called Rohsii. The galaxy is one of the largest in the supercluster, with several orbiting star clusters and companion galaxies, among them Lenu and Ranabad. Close to the edge of the Rift, Rohse is one of the inhabited galaxies in the Territories closest to the First Square.
Most of the galaxy is under the control of the Volanti, under the banner of their Valian Empire. However, many of its planets are not fully grafted to imperial athority, and most of its outer edges have never been thoroughly explored. Great paved hyperroutes criss-cross the celestial body in almost all directions, the glue that holds its systems together.
