Prologue[]

The planet looked dazzling from space. Heedris Omnipitos stood aboard the Bridge of the Endeavor, looking down on Speckalia, the BSRB Homeworld in satisfaction. "I never thought this day would come." He murmured to himself. People all across the empire were watching and waiting for the ships to depart. This is, after all, the first time any ship from his empire attempted to try Extragalactic flight, much less 5. "Scavenger, Explorer, Interpreter, Irradiator, and Endeavor. These names will go down in history as perhaps the most ambitious project the Empire undertook," Heedris spoke to his crew. The 5 ships were known as The Voyager Fleet, and were built to fly the extreme distance to another galaxy. A crew member snapped Heedris out of his daydream. "Sir, if we are to keep on schedule we should depart soon. The Outer-Arm station can't wait forever." Heedris's Head tendrils flapped, showing his embarrassment. "Oh yes, we should get going," Heedris quickly replied, "Lest they think we have cold feet. Are we fully fueled? Once we start we can't turn around until we get there." A pilot checked the Ship Status monitor, then looked back at Omnipitos. "All signs are satisfactory, just the crew is getting impatient. We are ready when you are, Grand Admiral." Omnipitos took a deep breath, "Set a course for the Outer-Arm station. Once we arrive and are inspected, we set sail for Mirus."

Captain's log: Day one[]

Last night we arrived at the Fueling station, and they found the Biosphere on the ship was in jeopardy due to an error in the Biosphere's A.R.K (Autonomous Readied Killswitch. Used to prevent Ecodisasters aboard the ships before they can take hold.). This morning, after stocking up on as much spice as we can afford (Because we don't know if other galaxies have Spice) and saying our goodbyes, we set off for Mirus. Everything seems to be running swimmingly, although the passengers are a little glum about having to actually do their new jobs.

Captain's log: Day two[]

We have definately reached the thick of the journey. Or, should I say, the thin of it. Possibly the coolest thing we found today was a blue star with a single planet in its orbit. We would have set up a base there, but we are already behind schedule and the planet wasn't too habitable. Maybe one day we will set up a rest stop there, but for now, we will spend the night orbiting the planet.

Day three[]

Day came sooner to the Voyager fleet than expected. In order to keep the mainly Blue-Speckled Red Bean Population's sleep cycles, the ships have an internal clock running the same timezone as the average planet the Empire colonized. Inside the Endeavors captain suite, Omnipitos drowsily shut off his alarm, his tendrils drooping over his face. As he yawned, they returned to the typical slow, slightly stiff wave common to BSRB. He got out of bed, and after assuming his uniform, he went to the crew lunchroom to gather breakfast. "It's a good thing there are plenty of restaurants and cafeteria on this ship. Helps keep the lines short," he said to himself. During breakfast, he had received a notice from the Emperor that the Empires feed to the ship was cut and the people of the empire were most "concerned" with this. Omnipitos assured the Emperor that all is well, and the people would witness more of the fleets travels. After the stream was fixed, the Endeavor led the other 4 ships out of the system, back into the monotony. After yesterday's monotony, Omnipitos expected nothing notable, and so he started to pour over the other ships Data from their journey thus far. After breakfast, Omnitpitos returned to his seat on the bridge, when a transmission from the Interpreter was received.

>"Good Morning Admiral! Over the past night, we have discovered a suitable candidate for a Mirus Capital. We have sent the course data to this new system in the computers of your ship and the other 3. With your signal, we shall start our flight to the system."

A BSRB Shipyard for constructing new ships, like this T-71 Behemoth.

Today we reached this new system, and our colonists have taken the liberty to name this the "Speckal System," and the planet "Speckalious." Colonists are now at work to construct the colony and we are working on constructing a new fleet division. In time we expect a prosperous start to our expansion in Mirus.
