The Oblikerate Rocket Launcher, sometime abbreviated Oblikerate or even ORL, is the most common rocket launcher manufactured and employed by the Algolurn Popular Republic.

The Oblikerate is equipped with built-in computerized aim-aiding systems and to work with some rockets Trajectory Altering System to modify the fly pattern mid-flight, although it can also be manually locked on it's target or fire freely. The computer systems can uses laser targeting to help aiming. It is also equipped with an adapted scope to aid free-fired shots. It is able to both launch conventional self-propulsed rockets or missiles, but is also able to launch projectiles that require to be loaded with energy before firing with it's integrated energy storage.
Highly resistant materials and heat conducting pieces allow the ORL to contain the energy and heat deployed but a firing missile, allowing the user to prevent heat of a blast from expulsing by the back of the tube, although that also mean a small cool down period can be necessary if used too much. The user can also set the ORL to expulse part of the heat by the back end of the tube, allowing for a faster rate of fire.
History and Reputation[]
An relatively old design, the Oblikerate made it's proof during most of the fight involving the APR's troops since it was introduced and distributed to the troopers. Oblikerates were also sold or even given to governments or revolutionary (some nations even said "terrorist) groups sympathizing with the Popular Republic. It was reported that inexperimented or undertrained soldiers had hard time operating the launcher. The great polyvalence of the ORL design that allow it to fire a very vast array of rockets and missiles made it quite popular with it's users.

The Algolurn Popular Republic is of course the main manufacturer, employer and exporter of the Oblikerate Rocket Launcher. Some foreign allied nations were also authorized to produce or buy the launcher from the Republic.
