“Fight... the... future...”

The Apocalypta are often known by the citizens of the Cyrannus Galaxy as the Dark Ones, whose anger and malice is comparable to the darkness of the universe itself. Legend states that the Apocalypta were sealed away by Thirteenth Tribe after a huge civil war, with their leader being sealed on an unknown world, never to be awakened. However, the Apocalypta are not gods, but highly advanced Ultraterrestrials, like the Thirteenth Tribe, the Xyanxes, Naucean and the Atlantica.
However, recently during the Intergalactic War, the dark lord of the Apocalypta, Antediluvian arose, and began a new reign of terror, more powerful then ever before. This power assured him the power to conquer the entire galaxy, and quite possibly the Gigaquadrant, with the formation of the Galactic Empire of Cyrannus under his rule.
History
Formation
It is said in the Ancient Scrolls that the Apocalypta were originally good virtue members of the Thirteenth Tribe, sworn to the advancement and protection of sentient beings and light. Antediluvian was originally the second in command of the Thirteenth Tribe, after the wise and powerful leader, Apol'eus. Over time, Antediluvian began to desire that he be elevated above all the other members of the Tribe, espiecally Apol'eus. He built up a group of loyal followers against Apol'eus, but was captured and sealed in a dimensional prison before he could kill Apol'eus. However, working behind the scenes, his followers released him and began a dreadful civil war within the Tribe.
Sealed Away
At first the rebellion was going well, with battles raging beyond the temporal sphere of the universe and within, damaging the very constructs of the universe, however the Thirteenth Tribe decided to use a last resort, not to destroy the Apocalypta (As they became known), but to seal them away, hopefully for eternity. Antediluvian tried to fight until the end, but was sealed away on an unknown planet in the Cyrannus Galaxy. With the absense of the Apocalypta, the universe began to recover, and the Thirteenth Tribe began to rebuild.

However, millions of years later, during the Intergalactic War, a group of Republic Soldiers landed on the world where centuries prior, Antediluvian was sealed. When exploring the planets ruins, they inadvertently awakened the dark lord. The Thirteenth Tribe, sensing this sent one of their agents, Esdras to quickly seal Antediluvian once again. However, Antediluvian was much more powerful then before and killed Esdras, sending him to a higher plain for eternity. Laughing, Antediluvian began to educate himself on the current events of the Gigaquadrant and foresaw Apocalypta rule!

Antediluvian was searching the galaxy for some remnants of his followers, locked away by the Thirteenth Tribe in the Great Civil War. However, while researching the ancient texts he discovered the probable location of one of his most trusted lieutenants, Apeligateza who was trapped away on a planet deep in the Unknown Regions of Cyrannus. Antediluvian arrived on this planet in an instant and recited an ancient Apocalyptan poem.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake and Apeligateza emerged from a wormhole, which led to the dimensional prison that had kept him guarded for so long. Apeligateza regained his strength and looked his master in the eye, and upon hearing his mission, was sent to the capital of the Confederacy of Allied Systems, where he ambushed Chancellor Dasá, teleporting them to a higher plane, where Apeligateza ruthlessly killed him. When Apeligateza returned to Dasá's empty office, he assumed the dead chancellor's appearance, smiling that everything was going according to his master's plan.
Meanwhile, Antediluvian began to search the universe for powerful entities to make his acolytes, while also trying to find more of his old followers. As the Apocalypta were gaining more and more power, in secret Antediluvian allied with Salbagrim who managed to gain a large force of Chaos Realm Demons under one banner, willing to serve Antediluvian. Now in secret the Apocalypta and the Choas Realm were in league, a dangerous alliance which could have serious consequences for the forces of good. Especially now that Atlantica and the Thirteenth Tribe haven't been in contact with each other for millennia.
The Dark Times
After orchestrating the entire Great Cyrannus War, the Dark Lord unleashed his master plan on the galaxy and Cyrannus wouldn't be the same again. Influencing some of the most dire enemies under his rule, Antediluvian formed the Galactic Empire of Cyrannus. Now, he prepares to use his new found hyperpower to destroy his enemies and rule over all mortals!

The Apocalypta, as an extension of the arm of Antediluvian himself rarely feel the need to open up relations with lesser civilizations, but may accept alliances from similar civilizations who share their need and lust for conquest and domination. They also rarely interact with lesser beings, believing them to be a waste of time. However, Antediluvian is beginning to believe that power in the universe often steems from them, and wishes to manipulate them into worship.
