Be careful not to stray too deep, you might find something you wish you never found. They said monsters were not real, but they were wrong, and these monsters still lay at rest and have been sleeping since 500,000 years ago.
What is known[]
The Mekkani are one of the most interesting races since they had no enemies. All who opposed them were destroyed to nothingness. Their technology is worth millions since it seems like what has been scrambled together thereby many different experts in the fields of them is that nothing is certain since entering a Tomb World would be a certain death. A Mekkani abyss is "more" suitable for exploration than a tomb but also there is an empire that has sat up in the centre, protecting the core more intensely than the Grox.

"We are Mekkani, we are Unstoppable. WE ARE IMMORTAL" Those were the Mekkani Overlord's last words before he was looked and sealed away in [REDACTED]. He was not defeated; he was tricked into [REDACTED] And thus we were defeated, without an overlord, the warlords tried the best to rule, and thus the downfall 500,000 years ago"
- A disconnected Mekkani.
The Mekkani. The destroyers, purgers, machines or liberators. Depends on who you ask, but to learn more, you should ask a Disconnected. Disconnected are Mekkani whp were created with a bug in their systems, invisible to the Mekkani which allows them to ignore their superiors. Disconnected are usually regular Mekkani, but in very rare cases it can be a Warlord like Fyn'ud, who Refused what he calls the Great Slumber. If asked what the Great Slumber is, he goes into details about the construction of metal planets that would become tombs roamed by Shak'tai (Devouring ones), giant metal snakes that would kill anyone in less than a second. But in these planets are millions upon millions of dormant Mekkani. These worlds are plentiful in Selten every 100 star systems has a tomb world planet within it.
Tombs of the Great Ancient Ones[]
The Tombs of the Ancient ones are seen as forbidden places, often crossed out, ignored, marked as dark sectors, or the denial of their existence is blamed on the dark matter. Most tomb worlds are beautiful with nature and animals. But that is just the tip of the iceberg because underneath and, stretching thousands of miles under the surface is a tomb the size of a planet which is shown by its large obelisks casting long shadows, marking entrance to the Tomb. Smaller and less significant entries can be found around the Tomb world, called Abysses, strange stuff like aircraft and other vehicles rest there, in the case of the presence of a sarcofagus related to the presence of a Mekkani Overlord who was slain in battle, it will be guarded by drones.
Types Of Mekkani[]
Living metal[]
Mekkani are made of an extremely brilliant but still light, growing metal named Orcalium which can be found in large abundance in the tomb sector and the Chaotic sectors. with this living metal, mekkani are able to regrow entire lost limbs to some extent. Ocalium is considered one of the most expensive and valuable metals in Selten. If one wishes to obtain some they will have to venture down deep below a planet's crust since it can only be found close to the core of a planet or in small abundances in the atmosphere of Selten's gas giants
Mekkani Armada[]
The Mekkani armada is a horror to witness, posessing the largest ships of the galaxy. Anyone who has seen the relic of a once massive ship barely knows the sheer size, and there are still ones that have never been seen by modern Selten. The Armada waits patiently the instructions of the Overlord, opening up to a new horror of mass murder and galactic genocide.
In the war between the Mekkani and the Adresaas monoliths were used at full power and they struck without the enemy knowing and before they knew it a highly concentrated energy beam would eradicate the existence of the enemy leaving only a cloud of dust and debris.
Prisoner of the Core[]
"Soon I shall be free of my prison and awaken my legion of old. We shall cleanse this disgusting cesspool of a galaxy of all it's taint"
-Mekkani Overlord

Quotes[]
“You are similar to I but not to the people of the Realms. You are an oddity that requires its own classification. You seek extermination and we now seek yours. Your death will mark a new Golden Age for Selten and its inhabitants, especially for our the Unified Realms. The issue with your current government is that you fail to form bonds like the Cybercratic government you should be, in time we shall fix this in the same fashion as you tried to annihilate us. Selten is not yours for the taking, the Unified Realms and the Rotalat Allied Powers will show you the mistake you made when you took your first shot at Heitec, Adrealis and many more, in which you failed to conquer the strongest. You thought you could just take us? I am just machine but I believe the Sards would laugh at that statement. You saw us and deemed as unworthy of life, now we see you and we deem you worthy of death.”
- - S.A.R.D of the Unified Realms of Heitec
trivia[]
-The Mekkani share several connections with other ancient empires from fiction. Some of the inspirational material is from Warhammer 40k's Necrons. Another reference are the Reapers from Mass Effect but that is just a small inspiration.
