The Klak L. 25 is an assault rifle using laser as it's main mean of offence. "Klak" actually mean "Laser" in Classic Tovlak.
Specifications[]
The rifle is semi-automatic only. As most energy weapons from the APR, the L. 25 use energy cards as main means of ammunition. Each Standard Klak Energy Card (called "SKEC" by the troops) allow for 10 shots and is rechargeable. The weapon can also be directly fed from a power source, such as power armour's storage. The SKEC are also rechargeable, limiting the lost resources.
Creation[]
The Klak L. 25, as most gun from the Klak serie, as been created by the Murglbrgs' engineers in the Algolurn Popular Republic. The L. 25 was the first mass produced of the serie and it's inventor, Dassil Klak, is still working on new future development for weaponry.
Fabrication[]
The L. 25 is relatively cheap to manufacture. The only known manufacturer is the APR's government and no private companies are officially allowed to produce it yet. Since the APR is a communist state, this is unlikely to change.
Reputation[]
The Klak L. 25 earned a solid reputation as a highly reliable weapon. The easy maintenance it require is simple and fast. The weapon lack stopping power and it compensate with a decent accuracy. Is it very appreciated and a common sight with in revolutionary groups and rebels associations, since the APR provide several pro-left groups through the Quadrants. It is also very common to see L. 25 in use by pirate forces, unfortunately.
