Kirji during his first days joining the military was noted to be very unsure of himself and something of a nervous wreak. Known for being very jumpy. However as he rose in ranks of the Vanara Empire's military he grew in confidence and has since become one of the best admirals that they have ever had. Kirji is now notable for being a confident, calm individual with a no nonsense attitude when on duty, but a much more relaxed one when not. He still has his uncertainties and insecurities, if fact he keeps them around to remind of his own fallibility. Still he does not allow his men to see this side of him accept for slight glimpses to remind them that he is one of them and not infallible.
His command style is one of leading by example and being rather personal with his men. He can be seen eating with them, making small talk, and even giving those who are suffering from how demoralizing war can be by giving them council and sharing in their pain. He also makes dead sure to keep track of all incoming cadets who may end up in his fleet. Dropping in for visits when he can to give pointers or at the very least let his appearance act as a form of inspiration.
Still Kirji carries much sadness with him, the loss of his wife and daughter took it's toll on him. This and the constant wars he has been embroiled in has left him with more scars then the ones that can be seen. He often suffers from nightmares and flash backs when alone. Even though he remains as confident in his command he often wonders if he is getting too old and should step down and retire. Interestingly enough he has chosen to embrace his losses no matter how much they hurt since it allows him to relate to his men and what they are going through all the much better.
