The Eta are one of the most advanced beings in the galaxy, almost on par with the precursor empires. Their advanced tech comes from the greatest minds that reside and contribute to the empire. On the other hand, the Eta are incredibly amoral. They have been known for forcibly assimilating technologies from past civilizations and eradicating entire races through deadly bio-weapons and catastrophic bombardment not too long before the Galactic Code was established. Their harsh reputation has caused them to diverge from the rest of the galaxy in isolation, resenting outside diplomacy. Although they lack the aid of other empires, their great advancements make them a force to be reckoned with.

The Eta have come to resent any outside influence, exercising great fear and paranoia when interacting with other empires at all. Their hatred of the others nations' constant "scheming and meddling" has kept them to their isolation. However, they have been witnessed accepting gifted resources from the Idraxians. In fact, the Eta regime are not against bribes and gifts.
The main leaders of the Eta are an interstellar council of elders who control the empire's overall decisions. These elders are known to have lived extremely long lives, and are considered wise from their past experiences. The members of the council never change until death, meaning that only assassination can ever result in a new leader.

During expansion in the early years, other lesser races fell victim to their conquest. As of today, all of their known subject empires had been fully integrated as lower-class citizens of the Hegemony. Their technological advancements and achievements of the past are now merely contribution to the Eta's massive arsenal.
Weapons & Technology[]
One of their feats are their psionic abilities and induced long-lifespans. Eta individuals are actively put in suspended animation, allowing them to live past their lifespans and even advance their minds enough to exercise a minor array of psionic abilities, which are uniquely drawn from raw negative emotion.
Among their accomplishments they had even begun to rival the ancient Idraxians and Abaddon empires, being able to replicate and construct their massive titan capital ships. Other empires of the galaxy had deemed these vessels too expensive and inefficient to be of practical use. However, the Eta's titans merely supplement their accompanying powerful fleets.
The Eta had also used a unique form of planetary shields. While other empires only use these shields to protect them from orbital bombardment, the Eta are able to utilize these shields to an even greater effect, impenetrable to surface scans, radio-waves, and even the most powerful bombardment a fleet from an empire or group of empires can deliver. Only the Abaddon had been capable of creating such shields. Because they block all kinds of such long-distance actions, they are only used right in the event of an invasion.
The Idraxians' phase disruptors are also a common weapon in Eta vessels, which fire quantum energy charges capable of rapidly disintegrating all kinds of shields and armor. The Eta's largest ship weapon is the advanced plasma launcher, which burn through the thickest of ships bearing the densest of armor.
